Condemned to Love

I came to train as a warrior…
But he saw me as his prey.
Aldric warned us of a war. He demanded new warriors…
And he laughed in my face when I volunteered.
Instead of backing down, I challenge him to train me.
What started as mockery…
Becomes his new obsession.
He pushes me to my limits.
And the closer I get to that line…
The more likely I am to cross another.
I want this vrakken.
And I can tell he wants me, too.
In a life where there is so little good..
I don’t want to resist.
I could never be as strong as a vrakken warrior.
Or at least that’s what he tells himself…
Until he gives in.
His loyalty might be to his people.
But all he wants is me.
