“Hi, Katie girl, getting ready to leave?”My grandmother gives me a knowing smile and a little wave to me from the bed inher state of undress. Wait, what is my grandmother doing naked in bed? I glanceat Alan, who is also shirtless and also in bed. In bed—with my grandma.

“Oh, oh, oh, oh my…” I cover my mouthwith shock. My grandma and Cole’s grandpa are having sex at my wedding. “Oh my,my eyes, oh my….” I slap my hands over my eyes. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know youwere in here. I’ll go and um—let you get back to it. Oh damn! I mean, you know, finish. Shit! I’m leaving.” I turn around, bolting for the door, bumping intoit.

“Katie,” my grandmother calls, concerned. For some unseen reason, I open my eyes and turn around.

“Are you okay, Kate?” Alan smiles fromthe bed.

“Am I okay?” I breathe. “I’m good, thanks—I—um, oh my.” But then I take in the sight of my grandparents naked inbed together, and I close my eyes, turning back around. This time, I rememberto open my eyes and bolt out the door, shutting it just as Cole comes out ofthe back bedroom.

“Hey, I thought you were going tochange?”

“I—uh, well…I think…” The thought of our grandparents’having sex has left me brain dead. I just point at the door.

“Are you okay?” Cole cups my face. “Youlook pale.”

“I’m—I’m great, thanks.” Oh I can talk, maybe I will be okay.

“Then what’s wrong?”

“I—I,” okay, maybe not, and I point atthe door again. Cole walks up to the door, turning the knob. “No, don’t.” Butit’s too late.

“You dirty old bastard,” Cole muses.

“I’m taking your advice. Now get the hellout,” Alan yells.

“My bag, get my overnight bag!” I shout.Cole grabs my bag.

“Oh Cole,” my grandma calls when Colealmost has the door shut.

“Yes,” Cole says, not opening the doorback up.

“I finally understand why mygranddaughter can’t keep her hands off you.”

“Grandma!” I shout, my face flushing withembarrassment. Cole laughs, shutting the door. I put my hands over my face, shaking my head.

Cole grabs my hips, pinning me to thewall, pressing into me. “Why is it you can’t keep your hands off me?” He nipsmy earlobe.

I put my arms around his neck. “Becauseyou fill me with a pleasure I’ve never known, and each time we’re together, youtake me higher and higher.” I breathe into his skin.

He pulls me back. “We are going now.” Hetakes my hand, helping me down the stairs.

Luke comes into the house. “Hey, thereyou are. The car’s out front.”

“Great, thanks man for taking care ofthat.” Cole pats Luke on the arm as we pass.

“Car what car?” I glance back at Luke andthen at Cole. Outside, all our friends and family have lined the pathway to thehouse and they throw a mixture of confetti and rice at us as we run down thewalk.

“This car.” Cole smiles as we stop infront of the 458 Spider. Well, it looks like the 458 but it’s hard to tell:it’s got so many blown up condoms and crepe paper covering it.

“Fancy Shmancy! She’s all fixed?”

“Yep, good as new.”

I put a hand on my hip and peer acrossthe road to Kit, Race, and Cooper, who are just standing there, looking allinnocent. “Okay, which one of you is responsible for this?” I point my fingerat them.

“Us?” Kit questions.

“Katie.” Kurt comes running out of thecrowd, wrapping his arms around me. I give them a menacing look. How dare theydefile our precious car. But then I smile. The three men across the road burstinto laughter.
