“Keep a close eye on him, Seth. The last thing we need is him overdosing.”
“Got that covered. A few men are stationed in his suite making sure he doesn't get too carried away.”
There was no denying that Seth was persuasive, calculated, and the fact that he was an artist with a blade made him invaluable.
“Would you like to talk to him?” Seth asked.
“Not yet. I want the girl here first.”
The last thing I wanted was to hurt them, so their father had best cooperate.
“What’s the status of the girl?” I asked Geraint.
“She suspects she’s being followed, so I’m going to have to get her when and where she least expects it. She’s been scouring the streets looking for her brother. The chick has balls, walks into whorehouses like she owns the places. Comes out in one piece. She’s persuasive too,got a barman to bend the rules and show her confidential footage and a bouncer to watch her car. Seems they got a glimpse of Seth on the security footage.”
Geraint cast Seth an annoyed look.
“What?” Seth shrugged.
“Anyway, from the look of it, they don’t have much to go by, they couldn’t see any of Seth’s distinguishing features.”
I looked up at Geraint. “Just get it done. You got your little nun here quick enough.”
His jaw ticked. “Don’t call her that Arthur, she has a name.” He hated when I referred to his wife, Branwen, that way, although she technically was a nun when he’d rescued her from that convent and her controlling father.
“Just get the girl here.”
Geraint stood abruptly and left the room. Seth followed, his shoulders shaking with laughter.
I slammed my fist on the desk. I would put a bullet in Charles Russos head by the end of this week.
I picked up the phone, dialing his number. He picked up on the first ring.
“Arthur?”
“I have your son, and I will have your daughter in a few hours. Come get them, or I will splatter their brains on my floor. Do you understand that, Russo? Do not fucking try me.”
I cut him off and rubbed a hand over my face. I was in control. Yes, I had lost it yesterday, lost it because of what a woman did to me two decades ago, but I would never let that happen to me again.
