She rubbed my length, and I was so close, it was unreal. Her hands felt like heaven around me. She parted her lips around my head, making me growl. She took me in further, leaving me aching to increase the rhythm. And then she started to move, her head moving back and forth. I closed my eyes as she gently squeezed my balls. She stopped her torture and looked up at me. "Look when I make you come."
She started her movements again, and I watched her in the mirror until I couldn’t hold it any longer. She took all I gave, swallowing it down. Then she got up, licking her lips, straightening my tie.
I pulled up my pants and wordlessly went to the bathroom. That woman. When I exited, she was wearing an ankle length grey dress that hugged her curves perfectly. Devlin and Maria were throwing a victory party at a fancy restaurant in town.
"You look stunning," I said, taking her hand and giving her a swirl.
“You’re just saying that,” she blushed.
"Hell no, you're going to be the center of attention."
“I have a gift for you.”
“Another one?”
She handed me an envelope, and I opened it immediately. I shook my head at what I found inside.
“It’s all there, you’re her father.”
I sank to the bed. I’m a father.
"I never even thought that could be a possibility, Jude, if I had…"
I stood and pulled her into my arms. I was sad for the time I lost, but I was pleased for the time I still had.
“We can’t change that now. Let’s just move forward.”
We both agreed that now was not the time to tell Becca. We’d let her settle in to her new home and get used to the whole co-parenting thing. And then, when the time was right, we’d tell her.
We walked out of the room, finding Becca scrolling through her phone with earphones in. I beamed at the sight of her. She looked up and gave me a weird look, likewhy are you staring at me?
Tilly, on the other hand, cocked a knowing brow, and I shrugged. "Just taking your advice to live life to the fullest."
She shook her head.
"The girls say they'll meet us there."
We'd invited Tara's roommates from the hospital. She'd kept in contact with Connie, who was also in the middle of a divorce. Tara knew what she was going through, so she wanted to offer all the support she could.

One Year Later
Iwatched Becca and Jude, who seemed to be lost in conversation. It's incredible how your life can change in just a year.
A year ago, I sat in a courtroom ready to be defeated once again. But then Tiffany Craig appeared, changing everything. I never knew that someone like Tiffany would end up being my saving grace. It shows what women can achieve when we stand together. There were repercussions, as there always are, but there were also rewards.
Tiffany and I are in the foundation phases of A Center for Abused Woman, which will also serve as a shelter. Maria and Tilly are on the board. Sarah too. There was so much red tape we still needed to get through, so much support and buy-in required, but there was nothing I couldn’t do after successfully jumping the kinds of hurdles I had.
I heard bustling inside and saw Sarah and Tilly fussing at the dining room table. They’d insisted on a one-year-mark to celebrate all we’d achieved together. Who knew that Sarah would be one of the people I most look forward to seeing. She adored Becca, and the feeling was mutual. She has even grown fond of being calledGrandmaeven though it makes her feel old.
We still have a long road ahead of us, but we now have a deeper understanding of each other as individuals. Sarah was a great support and one of the reasons why Tiffany finally decided to come forward and speak against not only Reid but her own husband. Tiffany was brave enough to put her own life on the line for me, and I had the utmost respect for her. Marcus was mad, but after all these years he'd been too big of an asshole to let go of Sarah. Theirs is a marriage of convenience, there is no doubt about that, but they seem to be comfortable. At least for now. He has long since stopped abusing her, and she has found a way to move past all that.
I thought about Tiffany and smiled. She would be here anytime now, as would my siblings and Maria. My small house was getting smaller by the minute. Tiffany had been scared to lose her child, but after what happened to me, she became smarter, and in the process, she got joint custody of their son and a hefty alimony once they were divorced.
Reid. Who knew what he thought? He was Vice-President of his father's company now. He'd agreed that Becca should stay with me but that he have visiting rights. I was comfortable with that. He was a pig of a husband, but he loved his child. The truth is that Reid never lost control of himself, he just wanted to control me to the extent that it became an obsession.
