Sometime before dawn, exhaustion had finally defeated both of us. Until then, he had taken me slowly enough to make every touch feel like a confession, roughly enough to leave my body trembling beneath him reminding me the man under the emotion, and playfully enough that I laughed into his shoulder while he threatened to make me start counting in Spanish if I continued questioning his stamina. Then he had rolled me onto my stomach, covered my body with his, and fucked me slowly again until neither of us could remember what time it was.
We fell asleep tangled together with his arm beneath my neck, one hand spread possessively across my stomach, and his body pressed against mine as though even unconscious, Ryan refused to allow an inch of distance between us.
Morning light leaked through the curtains and stretched across the bed. The room smelled like sex, my lotion and Ryan’s cologne, though most of it had transferred onto my skin during the night. His breathing moved warmly against the back of my neck while his chest pressed against mine with each slow inhale.
I remained perfectly still.
Waking in Ryan’s arms had once been so ordinary that I never understood how sacred it was. I used to reach for my phone, complain about the hour, or attempt to escape long enough to brush my teeth before he dragged me back beneath him. I had treated mornings like something we would always have.
Now I was afraid one movement might end the only one he had given me.
Ryan’s hand flexed over my stomach. “You’re thinking too loudly.”
His voice was rough with sleep and muffled against my shoulder. “I didn’t say anything.”
“You stopped breathing naturally six minutes ago.”
“You were asleep.”
“I was until somebody started having an emotional crisis with her entire spine.”
I smiled into the pillow. “My spine is private.”
“Nothing about you was private last night.”
Heat moved through my already tender body. I shifted carefully, pressing my ass against his erection, and Ryan released a low groan against my skin.
“Don’t,” he warned.
“I barely moved.”
“You did that deliberately.”
“I was checking whether you were awake.”
His hips pushed forward, sliding inside me again with one slow, deep thrust that stole the rest of my argument. I caught the sheet in both hands while his mouth moved over the back of my neck.
“You have your answer,” he murmured.
“Apparently.”
Ryan’s hand slid from my stomach to my hip, gripping me firmly as he withdrew and drove back inside. The sound he made vibrated against my shoulder.
“Fuck, your pussy is so hot inside.” He groaned through the final word, and I arched back against him, taking him deeper.
“I’m already gonna to come, Charm. You feel too fucking good. All swollen and tight from last night…fuck.”
“You can come, I just want to feel you.”
His hand slipped between my thighs. His fingers parted me before finding my clit and circling it with the exact pressure my body remembered. “Come with me, chica.”
The room filled with our ragged breathing, the wet sound of our bodies meeting, and Ryan’s curses against my skin. Whenever my pleasure started building too quickly, he slowed his hips and worked me harder with his fingers, refusing to let me escape the edge until my thighs began shaking around his hand.
My breathing changed and Ryan felt it before I said anything. He withdrew long enough to roll me onto my stomach, then used his knees to spread my legs and pulled me upright until we were both kneeling with my back pressed against his chest. One arm locked around my waist while the other remained between my thighs.
“Fuck, yes.” His teeth scraped the side of my neck as he thrust into me harder. “Take all of it.”
The orgasm gathered low and tight, winding through my stomach with every punishing stroke until Ryan changed the angle and drove directly into the place that shattered me. My body clenched around him as pleasure struck hard enough to tear a cry from my throat.
