The Dead Don’t Scream

by Crimson Veil

Rhys’s mouth closes over me. My back arches. Callum groans as my hand moves faster. Dante reaches down and wraps his hand around himself.

“No.”

He stops.

“You don’t get to touch yourself.”

His eyes narrow.

“Why?”

“Because I want to.”

I reach across Callum and take Dante in my other hand. Now I hold both of them. Dante curses. Callum pushes into my fist. Rhys works his mouth between my thighs, patient and precise despite his own untouched need. I look down.

“Rhys.”

He lifts his head.

“Come here.”

He moves beside me. Dante takes Rhys’s place between my thighs, his grin returning before his mouth descends. I release Callum long enough to wrap my hand around Rhys. All three men surround me. Dante’s tongue sends pleasure pulsing through my body. Callum thrusts into one fist. Rhys fills the other. Their groans mix with my moans. No masks. No darkness. Nothing hidden. Callum reaches his breaking point first.

“Sloane.”

“Wait.”

His eyes open.

I stroke him harder.

“Wait.”

His entire body shakes. Rhys’s control lasts longer, but not by much. His jaw clenches while I work them both. Dante adds two fingers. Pleasure spikes. I cry out.

“Now.”

Callum comes across my stomach with a broken groan. Rhys follows a second later, my name leaving his mouth like a confession. Dante doesn’t stop. My hands loosen around the men as my own climax builds. Callum kisses me. Rhys strokes my hair. Dante draws me over the edge with his mouth. I come surrounded by the men I was supposed to leave behind at sunrise. When it ends, Dante crawls up my body and drops beside me.

“Best breakfast ever.”

I laugh. Rhys retrieves a warm cloth and cleans my stomach. Callum draws the blankets over all four of us. I settle in the center. Rhys on my right. Dante on my left. Callum behind me with one arm locked around my waist. Sunlight finally enters the bedroom. The hunt is over. I should sleep. Instead, I stare at the gold ribbon circling Callum’s wrist.

“One day,” I say.

His body tightens behind me.

“What?”

“I’m giving this one day at a time.”

Rhys takes my hand.

“That’s enough.”

Dante kisses my shoulder.

“We can do terrible things with twenty-four hours.”
