The Dead Don’t Scream

“Color?”

“Green.”

“Then nervous is allowed.”

He approaches.

“I’m going to bind your wrists. I’m going to blindfold you. Then I’m going to touch, finger fuck you until you forget two other men are waiting outside.”

My stomach tightens and my pussy clenches.

“And if you fail?”

“I won’t.”

“Very confident.”

“I can smell how much you want this.”

Heat floods my face. Rhys steps between my knees. He reaches for my wrist but pauses before making contact. I nod. His fingers close gently around me. He examines the three ribbons, then unties the black one.

Instead of taking it, he wraps it around my wrists. Not tight. Secure. He tests the space between the silk and my skin.

“Any numbness?”

“No.”

“Pinching?”

“No.”

He lifts my bound hands above my head and attaches the ribbon to a padded loop above the table. My shoulders stretch. I can move. I can pull away. I can reach the wall with my fingers if I need to signal. Rhys checks the knot twice.

“Comfortable?”

“Disappointingly.”

His hand closes around my throat without pressure. My clever answer disappears.

“There will be plenty of time to make you uncomfortable, Little Rabbit”

His thumb traces my racing pulse.

“Do you understand?”

“Yes.”

“Yes, what?”

I consider being difficult. His grip tightens by a fraction.

“Yes, Reaper.”

“Better.”

He removes a strip of black silk from his pocket. My breathing changes.

“This covers your eyes,” he says. “Nothing covers your mouth. If the darkness frightens you, you tell me.”
