So I kept going.
As I got closer, the details sharpened out of the steam one by one. Both of them were huge, easily matching or beating the seven feet I’d guessed from across the room, with wide chests and thick necks disappearing into heavy, muscled shoulders. Their fur wasn’t the sleek, groomed kind I was used to seeing on werewolves either. This was thicker, wilder, more like pelt than hair. One of them a deep reddish-brown and the other closer to a dark ash gray. Their features were broad and flat, with wide noses and deep-set eyes that caught the amber light and held it like a couple of beasts watching from the tree line.
Bigfoot. Actual, honest-to-God bigfoot. Two of them.
I’d heard rumors that a few lived out past the county line, deep in the state forest, but I’d never actually seen one up close. Even after the paranormal and the mortal world merged, they weren’t the type to live in the city or really be around people at all. They were loners, through and through. So seeing any at the bathhouse was insane, let alone two of them sitting together looking like a couple of mountains that had wandered in out of the steam.
They noticed me before I’d said a word, both sets of dark-eyed gazes swinging up toward me with an unhurried, easy sort of attention that made my skin prickle all over despite the warmth of the water. Neither of them looked alarmed or annoyed by the interruption. If anything, the gray one’s mouth curled just slightly at the corner, the kind of look that said he’d clocked exactly what I was doing the second I’d stood up across the room.
“Hi,” I said, because apparently that was the best my brain could come up with after all that buildup. “Mind if I join you?”
“Please do,” the one on the left said, his voice so low I felt it in my bones.
“We’d love your company, cutie,” the other added, grinning wide.
They both gestured to the space between them that was hardly big enough for me to fit. But that didn’t stop me. I walked over, settling into the hot water between them, feeling like I was squished between two giant and very warm boulders.
The moment I settled in, their scent enveloped me. It was earthy and rich, like the forest floor after the rain. But there was a spicy, musky tone to it underneath, thick with pheromones. I didn’t have to see what was below the water to know why they were here, I knew it the moment I smelled them. They were here to fuck, plain and simple. And my cock was standing at full attention.
“I’m Kit,” I offered, because it seemed only polite given how close we were all sitting, thighs pressed against thighs under the water.
“Grunt,” the gray one said. But when I blinked at him, he laughed, a deep rumbling sound that made the water ripple around us. “Kidding. Name’s Dale.”
“And I’m Milo,” the reddish-brown one said, extending one massive hand toward me. His claws were thick and blunt, more like a bear’s than a wolf’s. When I shook it, my whole hand practically disappeared inside his grip.
“Dale and Milo,” I repeated, testing the names out. They seemed odd for a pair of Bigfeet, but I wasn’t there to judge. “You two come here a lot?”
“First time, actually,” Dale said. “We’re usually not the bathhouse type.”
“No offense,” Milo added quickly.
“None taken.” I settled back a little more, water lapping just under my chin now that I’d sunk lower between them. “So what brings you in tonight, if not the usual bathhouse crowd?”
“Classes,” Milo said, like that explained everything.
“We go to State,” Dale clarified, seeing my confused expression. “Roommates. Junior year.”
That stopped me for a second. College. I tried to do the math on how old they actually were and gave up almost immediately, because honestly, who could tell with bigfeet. They could’ve been twenty, or they could’ve been forty for all I knew. Either way, it didn’t stop the warmth pooling low in my belly at the idea of two huge, hairy frat-adjacent cryptids cramming for tests somewhere in a dorm room not built for anyone their size.
“Needed to blow off some steam,” Milo went on, grinning again, flashing those broad flat teeth. “Pun intended.”
“Terrible,” I said, but I was smiling too.
“You’re one to talk,” Dale said, nudging me with his elbow, which nearly sent me underwater given the size difference. “You walked all the way over here with your dick hanging out, bold as brass.”
My face went hot, and not from the water temperature. “Well, to be fair, I thought you were one person.”
“That explains it,” Milo said. “You stopped dead like you’d seen a ghost.”
“I was just… suprised.”
“We get that a lot,” Dale said, completely unbothered, like it was just a fact of his existence by now. “If they’re not surprised by our species, then they’re surprised that we’re together. But it’s not like a lot of guys can handle a bigfoot cock.”
Heat flushed into my cheeks and I felt my cock pulse underwater. “So you two are… boyfriends?”
“Cousins,” Dale said.
I froze, my jaw falling open.
