Her Scottish accent may be as bad as ever, but I watch, mesmerised, as she again swings a leg over me, the action easier this time, not inhibited by her dress. Straddling my thighs, she confidently grips my cock. She lifts herself, positioning me at her entrance, and then, in one swift movement, sits down on me.
I groan. She feels mind-blowingly good. Our bodies are connected, nothing separating us—we are one.
Her hands brace on my chest, and—to my embarrassment—I find it’s taking everything in me not to blow my load right now. I’m not some teenage boy having his first sexual encounter, and yet the way this feels . . .
Even so, I want more.
“Emily! Move for me, lass!”
She bites her lip and rocks, the chair clicking with her movements. She rides me, her eyes half closed, her mouth falling open. I’m in heaven watching her do all the work, using my body for her own pleasure.
When she emits a wee moan, I can no longer go on being a passive participant. I can’t help myself: I grab her by the hips and work her on me.
“Ally . . . yes!” Her eyes go wide.
I thrust up and into her, picking up the pace until we’re both panting, our bodies growing slick with sweat. I’m not going to last much longer. Deciding to take things to the next level, I wrap an arm around her waist and bury my face in her tits, worshipping them with my tongue and lips.
She groans, tightening around me, then rocks her hips faster, increasing the friction between us. I meet her thrust for thrust, the closeness of our bodies giving me a new angle. I hit a spot that drives her wild.
“Yes! There, Ally! There!”
She squeezes my arms as she comes, my head still cradled into her so that we’re as close as can be. Moments later, I lose myself in ecstasy and explode inside her.
When finally our breathing calms, Emily moves her head to look down at me.
I smile at her dreamily. “I don’t know what I’d do without you. I honestly don’t. Kiss me, lass!”
She does, our bodies still joined. For now, at least, I don’t have a care in the world.
CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE
ALLY
I gently kiss Emily on the forehead, not wanting to wake her, then climb out of bed. Emily was right when she said sex is great for de-stressing. Yesterday, after our encounter in the office, we sneaked upstairs twice, and I spent the night in her room. Now, though, it’s time to get ready for breakfast service, and I’ve no clean clothes here.
I glance back down at Emily, who looks so lovely as she lies sleeping, her lips slightly parted, her breathing deep and even. I bend over and kiss her again, on the cheek this time, then I pull on yesterday’s clothes as quietly as I can. Carrying my shoes, I pad over to the door, and with one last look back at Emily—to make sure I’ve not disturbed her—I turn the handle and leave.
Out in the corridor, I creep towards the stairs, not wanting to wake any guests, but I don’t manage five paces before a door opens behind me. Johnny MacDonald tiptoes out of room three—David’s room. When he sees me, he starts, his face turning scarlet. I just grin back at him. What else can I do? Caught like this, we both know fine well what the other has been getting up to. We can do the walk of shame together.
“What happens in the Bannock Hotel stays in the Bannock Hotel, eh?” I say softly.
Johnny chuckles, relieved. “That works for me.”
Johnny’s a nice guy, not at all like his older brother. If I bumped into Robbie after a night of sex, he’d probably pound his chest like King Kong.
“Do you fancy a coffee before you go?” I offer.
“No, I better get back to the resort before other people get up and tongues start wagging.”
“All right, no problem. Have a good day, mate.”
“You too, Ally. Oh, by the way, Da told me about the business you and Aidan are working on. It sounds brilliant. All the best of luck with it.”
I grin again and clap Johnny’s back as he goes by, letting him head to the stairs first. While he goes downstairs, I nip up to my room, showering quickly and putting on some fresh clothes. I then hurry down to the restaurant.
Jamie is in the middle of setting tables when I walk in. He looks up, sees my cheery grin, and scowls. “It’s sickening you’re so happy this early in the morning. But do you know what’s even more sickening? That I know why you’re smiling. Couldn’t you at least try to be your usual glowering self? Then I wouldn’t have to think about your and Emily’s bedroom antics.”
Chuckling, I walk over to him and pat his shoulder. “Jamie, let me tell you something: life is good. Remember that. Even when you’re fed up, stressed, and think there’s nothing to be happy about, a woman can come along and make everything right.”
