That and the fucking way he says that label.
It’s so naughty.
So bend me over your bike and bang me naughty.
“Now,” Hogan reaches for the extra helmet resting on his seat, “any shit I need to know before you get on?”
“I bruise easy.”
His index stretches over to give the side of my neck a soft stroke. “Like this?”
Yeah.
I know it’s there.
It’s just…I like that that one’s there, that there’s proof of our little secret rendezvous, that it wasn’t all just in my Mariah Carey “Fantasy” loving mind.
Our eyes lock onto one another, yet his fills with equal parts hunger and pride. “This better be my handiwork, baby.”
“It is,” leaps free just above a whisper.
“I’ll be more careful next time.”
“Don’t.”
A wolfish groan of comprehension is followed by him investigating, “Should we swing by G-Street? Pick up a travel first aid kit or something for your Special K condition? Be safe rather than sorry?”
It’s impossible not to snicker. “First off, Special K is a cereal-”
“And a drug,” warmly chuckles the dark-haired treat.
“Second-”
“We makin’ lists?” my date – assuming that’s what this is – pokes. “’Cause if we’re makin’ list, I’mma need a pen.”
“Second,” I sassily state again, hand plopping onto my black jeans covered hip, “I’ve got an emergency kit right here.” Lifting up the edge of my shirt reveals a purple and teal paisley fanny pack. “I usually wear it during the school year. More convenient than completely stopping a lesson on animal cycles to frantically have to find a Band-Aid because you nicked yourself during a quick scissors confiscation.”
Some kids smuggle in candy.
He liked to smuggle in sharp objects.
Thankfully, it was never to harm anyone else.
Only himself.
Which was sad in a completely different way.
Getting him professional help took much longer than it should have.
Hogan nods his amusement as much as approval. “Always prepared.”
“I am.”
“Got gloves?”
“Couple pair just in case I-” The juvenile grinning not only severs my sentence it reddens my cheeks. “Um…no. Not that type.”
“I’ll handle that,” he smoothly insists prior to lightly jiggling the bag, “and get you a Misfits patch for this.” New waves of mirth flood his bright gaze. “I know a guy.”
