I arched a brow. “You trying to pimp me out for access to my dick?”

My gaze held hers and she frowned hard, narrowing her eyes. “Wait, can you read my mind? Like vampires do that, right? That’s your thing.”

She had my blood so I could but wouldn’t freak her out about it. Her thoughts wouldn’t be mine until she offered them freely.

“You worried?”

She shrugged. “Not at all.”

“Lying ass. Your heart is racing like a muthafucker.”

Her mouth dropped open and I smirked. “I’m not in your head. I can be, but for now, I don’t want your thoughts unless you give them to me.”

“Don’t you want to know how I feel?”

“I don’t need your thoughts for that. Your body will tell me.”

“What if I want you to ask me?”

I gripped her thighs, dragged her closer, and leaned over her body, planting a kiss between her legs.

“What do you feel, Uri?”

“You.”

“Do you and your cousin have the same type of magic?”

“Some of it, why?”

“She read my energy today.”

“And what did she see?”

“You.”

I pushed a hand under her shirt and it crawled up near her waist, exposing flesh hued panties almost the same color as her luscious brown skin. I gripped her left breast and kissed her stomach.

“Read me.”

“Why?” She moaned when my mouth moved lower.

“Because I want to know what you see.”

She smirked. “I don’t need my magic to do that. Your body will tell me.”

“What does it say?”

“That you’re mine.”

“Good, because the feeling is mutual.”

“It always feels good in here,” my cousin Toyin said as soon as she entered Sweet Inferno.

“Thank you.” I smiled proudly. My store was my pride and joy. Having this space gave me independence and a way to stay connected to my magic.
