The Bossy Mountain Man’s Icy Pumpkin Spice

“Yes.” I roll my hips forward as he places his cock at my entrance. When he pushes forward, I almost blackout from the pleasure. “You feel so good.” I moan when he starts thrusting, his pace slow and steady at first. “More.” I grip his shoulders, my fingernails digging into his skin as he picks up the pace. It’s not long before I’m shouting his name as I come—the sudden orgasm shooting through me.
As my body tightens around him, I feel his composure falter as his hips pound against me harder and faster. “So, good. You feel so good, Kira.” With one last deep thrust, he throws his head back, and I feel his warm cum shoot inside of me.
“Wow.” I sigh into his neck as he rolls onto his back, taking me with him.
“Wow is right.” He kisses my forehead. “Now, sleep. I have a very picky customer who comes in every morning at the exact time, demanding some awful monstrosity she calls a latte.”
I snuggle deeper into his embrace as he covers us with the quilt. “Okay, bossy.”

Afew mornings after the storm, Kira is late. Seven-fifteen comes and goes, and I keep glancing at the door while pretending to straighten cups that are already straight. Heather catches me checking the clock and smirks. At seven-thirty, the bell above Mountain Grind finally jingles. Kira steps inside, cheeks pink from the cold, a sketchbook tucked under her arm. I abandon the counter before I can pretend I am not relieved to see her.
“Morning, sunshine.” Kira leans over the counter.
I come around the counter. Fast. She laughs when I lift her off her feet. The entire coffee shop cheers. I don't care. I kiss her. When I put her down, she looks toward the counter. “Is my drink ready?”
“Of course.”
She picks it up. Extra pumpkin. Extra whipped cream. Cinnamon. Caramel. A heart. A very obvious heart. and she smiles. “Accident?”
“No.” I hold her gaze.
Her eyes soften. “No?”
“No.”
I take her hand. Then I lead her across the street.
“What are you doing?” Kira lifts her eyebrows.
“Something.”
“Very informative.” Kira takes a small step closer.
Temptation Ink is empty except for Keanu, my sisters, and a small breakfast spread. Kira looks suspicious. “What is this?”
I roll up my sleeve. Her eyes widen. A new tattoo sits on my forearm. Not one she gave me. A tiny coffee cup beside a tattoo machine, framed by mountain lines. Beneath it is one word. Home. Kira covers her mouth.
“I wanted to surprise you.”
“You let someone else tattoo you?” Kira punches my shoulder.
“Don't focus on the wrong thing.”
She laughs through tears and I touch her cheek. “I spent years thinking home was a place I had to hold together for everybody else, then you walked into my coffee shop and started ordering the worst drink ever invented.”
“It is delicious.” She gives me a flirty smile.
“Let me finish." I caress her cheek. "I figured out home can be a person too.” Her eyes fill and I take a breath. “I love you. I don't want to control your dreams. I want to be there while you chase them.”
Kira throws her arms around me, kissing me deeply. Behind us, Heather sniffles loudly. Keanu mutters something about getting emotional before breakfast until we finally break a part.
“You know what this means, right?” Keanu asks, glancing at Ross’s tattoo.
“What?” I ask, looking between Keanu and Kira.
