“Take it easy, you little hellion.” Pinning her legs beneath his thigh, Wizard shifted his hips so his dick was no longer within reach. “I didn’t say I wouldn’t help. I only asked why,” he explained patiently. “We don’t give free lunches here. If you want my help, you’ll have to offer me an incentive, and it had better be a good one, or it won’t be worth my effort. Given your history of breaking deals, your credit is in the shit tank.”
“I should never have come here expecting you to help me.” Her hatred-filled eyes glared up at him.
Wizard was glad he hadn’t released her yet.
He clicked his tongue. “Tsk, tsk. Is that any way to speak to the man who can help you?”
“Fine,” she snapped. “What do you want? And it had better not involve sex. That’s a no-go for me.”
“Hellcat, after the way you nearly ripped my dick off, I don’t think I could get it up right now even if you begged me to fuck you.”
“Do you even know how to fix this?”
“I’d fight fire with fire. I’d post a video showing us refusing to serve the minors and escorting them out of the club. Then I’d find out who posted the original video and go after them for defamation.”
Her rigid body relaxed beneath him. “You can’t post images of minors online.”
He raised a sardonic eyebrow. “Do I look like I give a fuck? If they want to pretend they’re adults, they can face adult consequences.”
Keeping his expression neutral, he didn’t elaborate on his plan to find whoever had smuggled the young women into the club. He and Doom had spent most of the night reviewing the surveillance footage to determine how they had gotten inside.
If Natalia discovered his ulterior motive, it would weaken his bargaining position.
“What do you want?” she asked.
“Don’t sound so thrilled.” Smirking down at her, he rubbed his stubbled cheek against hers. “I’ll try to make it as painless as possible. All you have to do is come whenever I call.”
Natalia jerked her face away. “You wish,” she said snidely. “Choose something else. I own a business—I can’t drop everything whenever you call.”
“As long as you come within a reasonable amount of time, I’ll be satisfied.”
“What do I have to do when I get here?” she asked distrustfully.
“Whatever makes my heart happy.”
“I want the minors’ faces blurred,” she bargained.
“Whatever makes your heart happy,” he conceded magnanimously, thrilled she was willingly stepping into his trap.
“You’re such a dick. The biggest mistake of my life was turning to you for help with Jesus and Lucia.” Bitterness filled her voice.
Wizard stared at her without pity. “Natalia, your first mistake was walking out on our deal. Your second”—he paused—“you should have run when you had the chance.”

GOOSE BUMPS
Curling her fingers into the sheets beneath her back instead of struggling against Wizard’s restraining hold, Natalia considered her next words.
She had been warned that Wizard was ruthless, and she had ignored them, believing herself capable of outsmarting him. She was failing miserably.
Fighting her attraction to him, along with the stupid mistakes she had made when her temper had gotten away from her, had led her to the position she found herself in now.
“I shouldn’t have walked away from our deal,” she admitted reluctantly. “I should have trusted you.”
Suspicious, Wizard listened without releasing his hold on her.
“You can let me go.”
