“Any news?” Viper’s commanding presence reassured Wizard that he had skilled support, regardless of what Natalia’s kidnappers had planned.
“Her kidnapper contacted her brother. They’re scheduled to meet in forty-five minutes.”
“They haven’t contacted you?” Reaper asked sharply, tossing his duffel bag into an SUV.
“No. Rocco told them he was in New Wood and that it would take him an hour to reach the address Marco gave him.” Wizard glanced at his watch. “Which means we’re down to forty minutes before Rocco is expected to arrive.”
Wizard waved impatiently toward the SUVs. “We should load up. We’re ten minutes from the clubhouse and another twenty minutes from the clubhouse to the location Marco gave Rocco. I still need to finish preparing—”
“We can leave in five minutes,” Viper told him, handing his gear to Train, who had joined them after shutting down the helicopter.
“What’s the delay?” Wizard snapped. He wanted to reach the meeting place at the same time as Rocco.
“We’re waiting.” Viper remained where he was, and none of the others moved beyond placing their gear inside the SUV.
“For what?”
Viper pointed toward the sky. “That.”
Looking up, Wizard saw an airplane descending toward the runway. “Whose plane is that?”
Viper nodded toward Knox, letting him answer.
“I asked more brothers to come,” Knox explained. “We didn’t have enough room for them in the helicopter. If they rode their motorcycles, they wouldn’t get here in time. Reaper asked Dalton Andrews to lend us his plane and pilot.”
Wizard could have sworn he didn’t have an emotional bone in his body. He hated asking for favors. If Natalia’s life hadn’t been on the line, he wouldn’t even have asked Viper.
Knox had asked for him.
Wizard stood silently beside Knox and Viper as they watched the plane land. A lump formed in his throat when he saw how many men emerged. Lucky, Razer, Cash, and Moon—almost all the original members of The Last Riders—had come. Another ten brothers descended the plane’s steps.
Wizard was clasping hands with Lucky when the last brother stepped out. A knot tightened in his chest. The arrival of the brother who erased his remaining doubts that Natalia would survive gave him the first real sense of hope he’d had since she was taken.
Shade.
“I thought you were handling the intel,” Wizard said when Shade came within earshot.
“I found most of what I needed before I left.” His impassive expression gave no indication of how much danger Natalia was in.
Clearing his throat, Wizard addressed the brothers gathered around him. “Thanks for coming. I appreciate the help. I’ll pay you back—”
Viper slapped him on the back. “No need. You’ve provided backup in Treepoint enough times when we needed you.”
“Speak for yourself.” Rider pushed his way to the front. “You can pay me back with that sweet bike of Cornbread’s.”
Lucky shoved Rider into the back seat of an SUV. “Ignore him. Buy him a couple of boxes of cereal, and he’ll be good. He’s on a Lucky Charms kick this month.” Lucky slammed the door before Rider could demand another brand.
Wizard laughed then realized … “I didn’t bring enough vehicles. I’ll call Doom—”
“No need. I already took care of it,” Viper cut in. “I texted him before we left.”
“He didn’t tell me.”
“I told him I didn’t want you worrying about details when your mind was on your woman.”
“Thanks, Viper.”
The Last Riders’ president didn’t respond. Taking out his phone, he opened Google Maps. “Give me the address the kidnapper gave her brother.”
