The Amber House

She lowered her head and took Emma’s nipple into her mouth, biting down just enough to make her swear. Emma’s back arched off the bed; she grabbed the pillows, twisting the fabric in her fists.

Victoria’s fingers worked with relentless precision. She traced the slick folds, spreading the moisture, then pressed the pad of her thumb directly over Emma’s clit and rubbed in a tight circle.

Emma lost herself. The sensation was blinding. She thrashed against the mattress, completely at the mercy of Victoria’s hand. “Victoria. God. Please.”

"Begging already?" Victoria murmured. She moved her mouth to the other breast. She sucked hard while her thumb increased the pressure below.

"Yes," Emma cried out. "Please. I need it."

“Patience,” Victoria scolded softly. Her mouth traveled down Emma’s ribcage, leaving a trail of wet kisses over her stomach.

Victoria hooked her hands under Emma’s thighs and dragged her down the mattress until her hips were perfectly positioned. Emma gripped the sheets, dizzy with anticipation, watching as Victoria knelt between her legs.

This time, Victoria didn’t use her fingers. She leaned down and pressed her mouth directly against Emma’s center.

Emma screamed. The shock of Victoria’s tongue sent a jolt of electricity straight to her brain. Victoria licked upward along the sensitive seam, swirled her tongue around the clit, teasing the swollen nerve before sucking it entirely into her mouth.

“Fuck,” Emma sobbed, tossing her head from side to side. “Oh my god.”

Victoria was ruthless. Her tongue was wild. She slipped it inside Emma, then out, replacing it with two fingers while her mouth continued its assault on the clit.

Emma pumped her hips upward, chasing the friction, needing more. “Harder. Victoria, please.”

Victoria increased the pace, fucking Emma with her fingers and her mouth at once. The sensory overload was absolute.

“Look at me,” Victoria commanded, her voice muffled against Emma’s skin.

Emma forced her eyes open. Her vision was blurry. Victoria looked up at her from between her legs, her mouth glistening with Emma’s wetness, her expression intense, captivated by the sight of Emma falling apart.

“You are so beautiful,” Victoria whispered.

The words pushed Emma over the edge. The orgasm ripped through her. She screamed, her entire body seizing as pleasure blinded her. She squeezed her eyes shut, her hips bucking wildly against Victoria’s mouth.

Victoria held her firmly, riding out the storm with her, swallowing Emma’s cries, her tongue soothing the hypersensitive flesh until the final tremor faded.

Emma collapsed into the pillows, boneless, unable to move a single muscle.

Victoria withdrew and shifted up the bed. She pulled the duvet out from under them and threw it over their bodies, then drew Emma firmly against her chest, tangling their legs together.

Emma rested her cheek against Victoria’s collarbone, listening to the steady beat of her heart. The room was quiet again.

Emma traced a circle on Victoria’s stomach. “You ruined your bed.”

Victoria let out a soft laugh, the sound vibrating against Emma’s ear. “I believe you initiated the destruction.”

“I helped,” Emma corrected sleepily.

Victoria rested her chin against the top of Emma’s head with a quiet, heavy exhale, her arm remaining draped over Emma’s waist out of sheer exhaustion rather than tenderness. "You did," she muttered, the words clipped and already rough with sleep.

Emma closed her eyes, letting the last embers of adrenaline bleed out of her bloodstream until an anchor-heavy exhaustion settled over her limbs. The mattress felt impossibly soft beneath her bruised back, and the furnace-like heat radiating from Victoria’s side made it tempting to simply dissolve into the linen.

Yet as the quiet in the room stretched out, Emma felt the subtle shift in the body beside her—a slight, almost imperceptible tensing along Victoria’s spine, the sudden stillness of someone whose thoughts were beginning to outpace her fatigue.

The familiar knot of anxiety twisted low in Emma’s gut. Morning was only a handful of hours away. Daylight would inevitably break across the floorboards, demanding they pick their clothes up off the rug, prepare breakfast for the guests, drink black coffee over the inn’s kitchen counter, and confront the massive crater this night had just left in their boundaries.

Feeling that sudden rigidity between them, Emma shifted slightly, keeping her voice low so as not to shatter the fragile peace of the room. "Do you... want me to go back to my room?"

Victoria let out a soft exhale through her nose, barely shifting against the pillows. Her arm didn't loosen its grip by even a millimeter; if anything, her fingers pulled Emma an inch closer.
