Huh, having a Daddy with money and power who would also do all of Carver’s biding was pretty damn neat.

Carver

Scooting the big dump truck along the marble floor, Carver made honking noises to warn other drivers.

“Stop! Red light!” Kenny yelled.

He sighed and slowed his truck. Kenny was such a goody-goody and even when they were playing, he had to play by the rules.

“Vroom vroom,” Owen yelled as he cut in front of Carver’s dump truck with his red sports car.

“Hey!” Carver shouted. “I was here first!”

“Wee woo! Wee woo!” Jesse had the flashing red and blue lights on the ambulance on as he joined them.

“Red lights!” Kenny repeated.

“We can’t all have a red light,” Owen pointed out.

“You can if I say you do,” Kenny responded.

“Traffic jam,” Carver agreed. “Broken lights.”

“I need to get my patient to the hospital,” Jesse said.

“Red light!” Kenny insisted.

“Boys!” Dante clapped his hands as he entered the room with Nicholas and Yulian following behind him. “It’s time to get dressed for the party.”

Carver waved his hand. “Not now, Daddy! We’re playing!”

Dante scooped Carver up.

“No!” Carver kicked his feet. “We’re playing!”

“There is a big party downstairs about to start,” Dante told him.

“Everything is going to go perfectly,” Owen said. “I checked on things before I came to play.”

“It won’t be perfect if you four aren’t dressed and in attendance,” Nicholas stated. He pulled Jesse up. “Come on, boy.”

Kenny stuck his bottom lip out. “No more playing?”

“The wampire gnommies have new cloaks that they can’t wait to show you,” Yulian told Kenny. “I just let them in your room.”

“Gnommies!” Kenny jumped up and raced out of the room.

Carver snickered. Kenny had taken to the wampire gnommies, becoming Germin’s new best friend. He’d also trauma-bonded with Yulian. Yulian would make an amazing Daddy for Kenny if the vampire security guard wasn’t straight. Oh well, not everything could be tied up with a neat bow. There were still some stories that needed to be told.

“Let’s go, little gremlin.” Dante started to carry Carver from the playroom.

“Not gremlin, Daddy. Good boy.”

“My very good boy,” Dante responded. “And you will look extra yummy in your new suit.”

“Daddy!” Carver wailed. “No like suit.”
