“I’m sure I will. Are you ready for your spanking?”

“I’m ready, Daddy.” Carver laid his head down and closed his eyes.

Dante’s hand came down hard on his right ass cheek and Carver hissed. The second smack landed nearly as quickly.

Carver sucked in a breath at the sharp heat that bloomed from his ass down his upper thighs.

Each time that Dante spanked him, it seemed harder, heavier, and tears gathered in the corners of Carver’s eyes.

“Is there anything you want to talk about?” Dante asked between smacks.

“No,” Carver responded stubbornly. “I don’t want to talk. Talking is stupid.”

“Is it?”

“Yes! It doesn’t solve anything. Doesn’t fix anything!” Carver yelled.

“I disagree.”

“Because you know everything!” And that was annoying. “You know how I am feeling and what I really mean by scent. You can cut yourself whenever you want and aren’t dependent on someone else feeding you!”

“That doesn’t make you weak. You’re just a baby vamp.”

“I feel weak,” Carver shouted into the room. “I can’t do anything! I don’t know anything! I am bad at being a vampire and it sucks.”

“You are not bad at being a vampire.” Dante gave Carver’s right cheek three smacks in quick succession.

“I am!” Carver cried out loudly. “I suck at it.”

“You are perfect just the way you are.”

A hard hit to his upper thighs had Carver squirming and tears finally started to fall.

“I don’t want Owen and Kenny to hate me!”

“They are not going to hate you. They love you. It might be hard to understand, but we’ll keeping talking to them until we have their support.”

“Promise?” Carver whimpered.

“I swear.”

Carver screamed and kicked his feet. The spanking continued until Carver collapsed onto the mattress. His entire bottom and legs felt like they were on fire. The heat pulsed and radiated up and down his spine. He cried, releasing all the bad feelings that had seemed locked inside him.

Somewhere along the way Carver lost all sense of time and where he was. What was happening. He could only trust that Dante would take care of him and not let Carver fall into such tiny pieces that he couldn’t be put back together again.

“There you go. You did so well,” Dante praised. “I’m proud of you.”

Carver blinked and lifted his head. He didn’t know when he’d straddled his Daddy’s lap or how long he’d been clinging to him.

“Feel better, baby?” Dante wiped the tears from Carver’s face.

“Yes, Daddy.”

Cupping his face, Dante forced Carver to look at him. “I’m proud of you. Everything will be okay.”

Carver leaned forward and kissed Dante. He tried to put everything that he was feeling in the kiss, since it seemed impossible to push the words out. He was grateful that Dante knew what Carver needed, even when he didn’t know himself.

He had needed that release.
