It’s time to enjoy an oft overlooked spot

That’s truly like hidden treasure loot.

Head to well-traversed Rudolph Run,

Where there’s a “colorful” place to be.

Like the hue of pine trees, wreaths, and holly,

Your next destination is our very own town green.

Sit down, rest, and relax,

Stop and take a look around.

There’s beauty in just being.

Conversation, laughs, and contentment abound.

Near the gazebo find some fun questions

For your team to answer, one and all.

Record your dallying and submit proof

That at the town green you did stall.

Spotted: Elena McKenzie being wheeled out of the hospital following foot surgery. Sources closest to the patient have informed the DDD that everything went very well, and Elena should be back on her feet—both of them—in no time. A meal train has been set up for anyone who’d like to help out. Because nothing says thinking of you like a tator tot casserole, am I right? @DasherDailyDownload replied to @therealmarilyn – It’s listed just below my post, Marilyn.

@therealmarilyn replied to @DasherDailyDownload – I don’t see it on my end . . .

Chapter 11

Beth

On Friday morning, I pull into Elena McKenzie’s driveway and grip the steering wheel. I blow out a full breath to the count of seven and then suck in a lungful of air and repeat the process a couple of times. The bookstore was slammed yesterday, so I’ve barely had a moment to think, but now I’m facing down a conversation with the Kells.

Time for a pep talk.

“Alright, Beth. You can do this. You are a savvy business woman, and you have a win-win proposal for the Kell family. Be confident. Be charming. Be—”

A knock on my driver’s side window makes me scream.

Gabe is standing outside, with his face close to the window. He waves, and I motion him around to the passenger side.
