Thank fuck. I need her orgasm more than I need my own. I press harder, push harder, kissing her until she’s breathless and squirming. Until she tightens around my cock so hard it brings me to the edge too.
“Oh.” She breaks our kiss, her head tipping back, her eyes going glassy and unfocused as she reaches the peak of her desire. I still my hips but keep my finger moving, coaxing every ounce of pleasure out of her as she cries out my name.
She pulses hard around me, her orgasm prolonged by the touch of my fingers. And then I’m coming too.
I drop my head, kissing her, whispering her name. This beautiful goddess who can bring me to the edge of oblivion. And then I thrust once more, feeling the pleasure coiling and tightening before I start to come so damn hard I’m momentarily blinded by stars.
She kisses me back, her hands roaming over my body, her legs tight around my hips, and she’s so soft and welcoming it feels like coming home.
And when I finally find the ability to breathe – to fucking exist – again, she’s still there, still smiling, still looking at me like I’m the answer to all her questions.
For tonight, at least, I hope I was.
GEORGIA
At some point we manage to drag ourselves out of bed and get cleaned up. I take out the toiletry bag I packed and brush my teeth, staring at my reflection.
I don’t look like the same Georgia who caught the airplane to England a week ago. There’s color in my cheeks, a sparkle in my eyes.
And a gorgeous Englishman in bed waiting for me to climb back in with him.
I give myself a stern look, because I know I’m a little giddy from the romantic walk in the square, not to mention the way he went down on me before I could so much as touch him. Like he was so damn hungry for me, in the best way. But I barely know him, it’s only been a few days.
“Don’t overthink it,” I whisper at my reflection. She just grins back at me.
I’m still smiling as I walk barefoot back across the hallway of his tiny house, thanking God for the pajamas I grabbed from my hotel drawer because it’s cold in here.
He’s on his phone when I walk back in, sitting up against the padded headboard, the covers around his waist as the glow of the screen lights up his broad chest. He looks up and puts his phone down immediately. Yep, I could definitely live with politeness like this.
“Is everything okay?” I ask, glancing at the now downturned phone.
“Yeah. Just checking my emails.” He looks almost sheepish.
“Because of the problems you had earlier?”
“Actually, another problem,” he murmurs. “My mother’s throwing a fit because I’m not coming to her Christmas party.”
He lifts the covers and I climb in next to him. There’s no embarrassment here. I like that, too. Immediately he holds out his arm and I snuggle against him.
I lift my head. “Why don’t you want to go to your parents’ Christmas party?”
“I don’t know.” He shrugs. “I guess I find pulling my fingernails out more preferable to spending time with my family.”
I blink. “Ouch. That sounds painful.”
“Exactly. And anyway, it’s in Norfolk, and I’d rather stay in London.”
“Why’s that?” I ask, smiling softly.
“Because there’s this woman I’m trying to impress, and she’s leaving the country soon. I’d rather spend time with her over having to show my face at any party.” He runs a finger down my spine and it tickles. I giggle.
“She’s already impressed,” I point out. “Do your parents live in Norfolk?” I ask him, remembering the Google results I got on him a couple of days ago. And his father. Lord Ravensmere.
“That’s where my family seat is, yeah.”
“Your family what?” My lips twitch.
“Family seat. Where my family has lived for generations. My father, his father before that, all the way up to the first Baron.”
