The Trouble With You

by Erin Nicholas

She takes a tiny bite, then pulls back and chews and swallows before she slides her tongue over her lower lip.

Yeah, my cock reacts to that too. Fuck, I’m so in trouble with this woman.

“What do you think?” I ask. Will she compliment herself even in this instance when I don’t know that it’s her?

“It’s good,” she says hesitantly.

That’s bullshit. It’s amazing, and she should say so.

“Just good?” I ask. “I think it’s probably the best pumpkin cheesecake I’ve ever had. Here, try some more.” I press it against her plump lower lip, sliding it slightly so that pumpkin cheesecake filling coats her lip, and her tongue instinctively darts out to lick it up.

My cock twitches.

“It’s amazing right?” I press.

“Really good,” she says again with a nod.

I take the rest of the cheesecake into my mouth, but a dollop of filling and whipped cream stays on my index finger. I only think for a split second before I lift my finger and slide it between her lips.

She lets out a startled gasp, but our eyes collide, and her lips close around my finger.

“Good girl,” I say huskily without thinking.

Her pupils dilate, and she sucks gently on my finger.

My cock hardens, and my heart kicks.

I start to lean in, but the back door flies open just then, and we jump apart.

“Lawson, you’re here again!” Brewser exclaims. “I’m so glad.”

There’s a lot of rustling and stomping near the door, but I can’t pull my eyes away from Sutton.

She is similarly staring at me, and we are both breathing a little harder.

“We have a bigger group today,” Brewser says.

I finally wrench my gaze away from Sutton’s wide blue eyes and look over to find Harley, Wilson, and Patty following Brewser in through the door.

I frown. “What’s going on?”

“They were sitting outside on the lawn, and I told them to come in and have cheesecake and dance.”

“Dance?” Sutton asks.

“We all want to line dance,” Patty says. “It sounds like a hoot.”

Harley gives Sutton a smile. “I’ll be terrible, but Brewser says you can make adjustments for me.”

Harley had a stroke almost two years ago, and adaptive dancing will be great for him. But we, of course, can’t tell him all of this dancing will be adaptive.

I glance at the woman I was seconds away from putting up on the counter and smearing head to toe with pumpkin cheesecake filling.

She’s flushed, but she smiles at Harley and says, “Of course, Harley. I’d love to have you all dance with us.”

And I’m sure she means it.

“Wait,” I say as they all start for the living room. “You were outside on the lawn? Didn’t you see Sutton come inside? Didn’t you wonder why?”
