He groaned again and straightened up, pulling away a little, before stilling me with a hand to my wrist. “Probably not.”
I frowned and tipped my head to the side, easing my hand away from him. “No?”
“Not now. Not today.”
I didn’t want to push, but I needed to understand. “Is everything okay? Did I—”
Kieran exhaled sharply and reached down to adjust his erection. “We need condoms and lube. I want—I need—you to fuck me.”
I nearly came then, just at the thought of it, desire surging through my body and heat pooling in my groin. “Fuck,” I hissed, partially at the idea of being inside him and partially in disappointment that I couldn’t do it right then and there. My body was so hot I felt like I would spontaneously combust.
He sighed heavily and stepped farther away, putting what felt like too much space between us. I wanted nothing more than to be touching him, to feel his body against mine, to make him unravel.
“You’re right,” I conceded. “But that doesn’t mean I have to like it.”
Kieran chuckled softly. “I’ll make you a deal. If you promise to focus on the painting for the rest of the afternoon, I’ll let you take me home after and have your way with me.”
“Jesus Christ,” I muttered. “You’re going to kill me.” A realization hit in the next moment. “I—we can’t. That won’t work. Lena.”
He shook his head, grinning. “She told us this morning she’s working late, remember? We’ll have plenty of time.”
I surged forward and kissed him ferociously, pouring all of my aching, desperate desire into the kiss, and when we parted, Kieran was breathing heavily. “I can hardly wait.”
We spent the rest of the afternoon painting, getting the color blocking done, leaving the gradients for the following day. Honestly, we probably could have gotten it all done in the same day, but I wasn’t spending any more time at that shop than absolutely necessary, considering the promise I’d been made.
By the time we’d finished, I was antsy to get going, barely able to keep my hands to myself on the drive home. Once we stepped inside the house, I was on him, pinning Kieran to the door and kissing him hungrily. He moaned into the kiss, holding me tight against him and rocking his hips against mine.
My mouth moved from his to kiss along his jaw, before going lower, nipping at the skin below his jaw and drawing another moan from him. I slid my hand beneath his shirt and teased at one nipple as I sucked a bruise into his throat.
“Please,” he gasped, writhing underneath me.
I chuckled softly against his skin. “What?”
“I can’t—I need—” He panted, fingers digging tight into my back.
“Should we shower first?” I asked. Painting was physical, and we’d both worked up a sweat.
He shook his head. “I can’t wait that long.”
I smirked. “Okay, then.” Pulling back a little, I yanked his shirt off over his head, and tossed it toward the couch before moving my mouth lower, to tease his nipples with my tongue and teeth.
“Fuck,” he said with a gasp.
I dropped to my knees then, pressing my face against his groin and inhaling deeply before gazing up at him. The way he was looking at me, eyes glazed with lust and half-closed, made a groan tear from my throat as I palmed his cock through his jeans. My fingers made their way to his waist and unfastened his button before dragging the zipper down slowly.
“Can I suck you?” I murmured, my face against his boxer briefs.
Kieran chuckled hoarsely. “I don’t think I’ll last if you do.” He put a hand on my shoulder and tugged my shirt. “Come here.”
I stood and kissed him again, biting his bottom lip teasingly. “Ready?”
He groaned and nodded. “Please,” he repeated.
“Let’s get you in my bed, then,” I said, taking him by the hand.
