“You did,” he grunts and my cheeks flush; I’m mortified. “El,” he sighs my name like a question as he pulls back, and I fill my lungs with air. I recognize it in the way his eyes search mine for an answer I can’t give. He lets go of my leg and I stumble back against the wall. I feel drained and my legs are trembling so much. His release drips down my stomach and mine is trickling down his. We’re both panting and breathless by what just happened. I want to slam my mouth against him again, but he grabs my chin, pushing my head back against the tiles as the water washes away my cum and piss from his body.
“You’re fucking disgusting,” he says, spitting the words in my face, and lets me go. Wiping at my mouth I collapse against the wall feeling ashamed and truly grossed out by myself. I shouldn’t have kissed him like that; I should have never come again.
He grabs the towel he hung over the shower door, slamming it shut behind him without giving me another glance, leaving me alone as I slump down against the tiles and let my tears run free. My body shakes uncontrollably, and I let out a sob while I get into a fetal position, letting the scalding hot water wash away the last traces of him.
“I know,” I whisper in Mandarin, hating myself for what I did to him. What I let him do to me.
1 Qīn ài de: Dear, beloved, or darling. An affectionate term to address people you love, or who you are close to.
Three months later, Tokyo
Eliot and Moon
I close my eyes. I can still feel his fist connecting with my jaw. Holy fuck, I didn’t know El had such a strong right hook.
“Where the hell is Tian taking her?” he asks, standing in the door opening of the love motel Tian dragged my blood out of and aiming a gun in my face. I nod to Sakamoto who straightens his spine and stands guard in front of the door. Yuki is keeping an eye on the elevator and bows in my direction. I shake my head, my jaw throbbing from El’s fist as I push my own gun in his face. I capture him by the throat and push him back inside the room, his naked feet sliding over the rug. Slamming the door shut behind me, I swear in his face as he drops the gun. His hands try to pry mine off, but he doesn’t stand a chance without his knives. I place my hands against Eliot’s shoulders and push him further into the room and secure my gun. I eye the unslept bed. He stumbles backward and I smile; I can feel his heartbeat banging against his chest as I grab his shirt.
Shaking him, he tries to escape. “What the hell were you planning to do here?” I roar, my eyes adjusting to the darkness. There’s a bed in the middle of the room, and an open shower to the right. It looks cheap and expensive at the same time, all dark purple lights and deep red colors.
He pushes me away from him and I let him. I see the computer standing on the table in front of the bed he slams closed. “What the fuck were you watching?” I question, and I can’t hide the anger and hurt in my voice.
He runs a hand over his throat and rolls his eyes at me. I like that he’s defying me right now; I can’t wait to see the look in his eyes change when I take what I want.
He knows she’s Tian’s. They’re married, although he hasn’t seen her since he made it official in Shanghai. They need to go back to New York. Me and Tian have a plan and having them beside us will only give those who oppose us more ammunition to hurt us. By putting a bullet where our heart is.
“None of your business, asshole,” he throws over his shoulder as he walks toward the bed.
I open the laptop and narrow my eyes reading the title, Sleepless In Seattle; I frown.
“What the hell do you think we were going to do?” he bellows, exasperated, motioning to the barely eaten Hello Kitty birthday cake and Boba tea on the table.
“It’s for her fucking birthday, the one you two assholes forgot,” he says, motioning at the silver two and two balloon on the couch. I glance around the room and notice the other balloons and cute cat flags hanging around the room.
“She wanted to spend the night watching nineties movies while eating cake. We couldn’t exactly do that in one of the family’s compounds, don’t you think?” he questions, sounding annoyed. “With all those fuckers around.”
I run a hand through my hair, loosening my tie a little and open my suit jacket, knowing he’s referring to me and Tian.
“We needed a vacation without you two after you put us back on that fucking plane without an explanation,” he says, pushing his fists against his waist.
“You really think you could enter the Japan without me knowing?” I seethe. “I have eyes and ears everywhere. I pay them enough to tell me where what’s mine is.”
He raises a brow, defying me, but not for long. “And who gave you the okay to talk back to me like this?”
“You, when you pushed me to my knees, Moon. I still have the fucking scars from those bathroom tiles. We don’t owe you two anything. You were the ones who exiled us to New York. I started to like Shanghai again.”
He has a point; I crossed a line when I had him choke on my cock. “How long are you in Tokyo for?”
“One more day. And why is this any of your business?” he asks, unable to look at me. “She wanted to check out Tokyo. You know how much she loves BL manga. All that Yaoi shit.”
I frown. “BL?” What the hell does that mean? Was that the anime shit he was watching?
“Look it up,” he counters, and I make a mental note. I want to know everything about him.
“You could have started this without breaking the door down. With a, hey, how have you been? What have you been up to? We all know Tian only married her for her vote. How’s this for your answer? We’re heading back to New York tomorrow, it’s her last fucking year before she starts her PHD, so he better leave her alone. Oh, and I’ve started seeing someone,” he says and raises a brow as a dare.
I sit on the edge of the bed and lean back by placing my hands on the sheets. “You haven’t been seeing anyone. You’ve been drunk dialing me and leaving messages almost every damn day. Don’t pretend you were too drunk to remember.” I know he only did it to piss me off, well it’s been fucking working. I’m seething, the anger consuming me a little bit more every single day having him not beside me.
He flips me off, and I run a hand through my hair; my hands are itching to wrap them around his throat, but I’ll wait. Maybe I do like edging; I grin and swipe my thumb over my bottom lip.
