I come with his tongue in my mouth and his hand on my throat. He follows with a groan that breaks against my lips, and he stays inside me while his forehead presses against mine and his breathing matches the rhythm of my pulse under his thumb.
He reaches beneath me and unties the silk. My wrists are sore, and my shoulders ache from bearing my weight. The second my hands are free, I grab his face and pull him into me. He lets me hold him. His mouth stays on mine while my freed hands grip the back of his neck, his jaw, his hair, touching everything I couldn’t reach while pinned.
He doesn’t pull away. He rolls onto his back and takes me with him. My body settles on top of his, and my cheek rests against the tattoos on his chest. He presses his lips to the top of my head.
I met my fiancé today. He’s hot, funny, a good fuck, and hung like his father with a pierced cock that most women would sell their soul to ride. And I would trade every fuck I could have with Ryker Bradley for one more night with the man whose heartbeat is under my ear right now.
Ryker got off because I’m a woman with a warm mouth. Rhett considers me his. All three of us felt that tonight, even if none of us are going to say it out loud. Ryker saw it. I know he did. The question is what he does with it.
I press closer to Rhett’s chest, and his arm tightens around me. Tomorrow things will be different with Ryker in the house. The time we have alone will shrink, and I can already feel the first crack forming in whatever this is. Not from Ryker. From the possessive reaction Rhett had when I sucked Ryker’s dick. I don’t know if he can let Ryker fuck me.
My list of questions play through my mind again. Rhett doesn’t make any fucking sense. But I love him anyway. And that makes no fucking sense, but I do.
And I’ll do whatever it takes to keep him.
Chapter Eight
Laine
Rhett has been in his study since nine this morning. I should have said something bratty so he would make me sit at his feet again.
He has a call with investors in Hong Kong or Singapore or something. I wasn’t paying attention when he told me, because his hand was between my thighs and his mouth was on my neck, while he made me come on this island before I even had a cup of coffee. Then he smacked my ass, told me to behave, and disappeared behind his office door.
So now I’m in the kitchen snacking on a handful of cereal and scrolling through my phone while I wait for him to finish his meeting, so I can go back to being his fucked-up little slut.
Last night is still sitting heavy in my body. My jaw is sore from Ryker’s cock, and my pussy aches from Rhett fucking me so hard afterward.
He told me to suck Ryker’s dick, and I did. I was good at it because Rhett taught me how to be good at it. And I can’t deny that I liked being the center of their attention, but Rhett is the one I want, the one I’ll always want. I don’t think Rhett was as unaffected by sharing me as he wants Ryker and me to believe, either.
That knowledge is power. I don’t know what to do with it yet, but I know I have it.
A lot of good it does me sitting in his kitchen waiting for him to come out of that study so I can crawl back into his lap and let him own me again. This is my life now. And I don’t hate a single second of it, which says everything about the kind of fucked-up girl I am.
The sound of bare feet on the tile makes me look up. Ryker comes around the corner in gray sweats and no shirt, his tatted arms and chest on full display and his dark hair still damp from a shower. He heads for the coffee maker without noticing me.
My stomach tightens at the sight of him. Not because I want him, although he is indeed very attractive. I’m not blind. He’s a younger version of his father, the very man I’m obsessed with. I’ve become addicted to Rhett Bradley. And last night, Ryker’s cock was in my mouth while his father fucked me from behind. And now he’s pouring coffee three feet from me like last night was just another Tuesday for the Bradley men.
He reaches past me for the sugar, and his forearm brushes my shoulder. I flinch before I can stop myself. Not from fear or disgust—from the pure fucking strangeness of casual contact from a man whose dick was down my throat twelve hours ago. I don’t even know him.
“Morning,” I say, because someone has to speak first, and I’m not going to be the one who makes this weird. I sucked his dick, and I called his father Daddy while it was happening. We’re past weird.
“Morning.” He pours his coffee and leans against the counter across from me. His blue eyes find mine over the rim while he takes a drink. The resemblance to Rhett hits me in the chest the same way it did last night when I was on my knees between them. Same jaw. Same eyes. Same mouth that tips at the corner when he’s amused. But Ryker doesn’t look at me the way his father does. Rhett watches me like he wants to take me apart piece by piece. Ryker watches me like he’s trying to figure out what to make of me.
“Your dad is on a call.” I can’t think of anything else better to say.
“I know.” Ryker sets his mug down and crosses his arms. The ink on his forearms flexes, and I can see a raven worked into the sleeve on his left arm. Its wings are spread across the inside of his wrist. “So. You’re the woman the Council and my father have chosen for me to marry.”
“If it makes you feel any better, they pulled me out of bed and dragged me to the Raven mansion to tell me I’d be bred for a Council seat for your family.”
His mouth tips. Where Rhett’s half-smile makes me want to drop to my knees, Ryker’s makes me want to slap his shoulder. It’s the grin of a man who finds the whole world entertaining and doesn’t take any of it too seriously.
“Are you always this pleasant in the morning?” Ryker waves in my direction. “If you’re going to marry me, the first thing you should know is that I need at least two cups of coffee before I can function.”
I roll my eyes and ignore his question. “Can I ask you something?” We might as well quit dancing around this.
“You can ask. I’ll decide if I feel like answering.”
Dick. He’s definitely like his dad. “Did you want this? Any of it?”
