Their Little Disaster
By Sadie Minx
Chapter One
Kerry
“Is there anything else I can get for you, Mr. Stone?”
Cuddling his sleeping wife on his lap, my boss barely glances up at me. “No, I think we’re settled, Kerry. Thank you.”
“You’re welcome, Sir.” Turning on my heel, I slip off to the small bedroom Mr. Stone had built into his private jet just for me. Most employers wouldn’t be so generous—I’ve been on plenty of planes exactly like this one where I was expected to sit in a cramped seat behind the cockpit no matter how long the flight was—and it’s a large part of the reason I’ve stayed loyal to Mr. Stone for as long as I have.
The other part being my continued hope that being in Mr. Stone’s orbit will help me find the thing I’ve been longing for my entire adult life.
A Daddy.
I’ve known I was a Little since before I even had words for what it was. When everyone else was leaving what they deemed “childish” ways behind them, I was still secretly waking up every Saturday to watch cartoons and play with my dolls. And when I discovered the world of kink and ageplay at the ripe age of eighteen, it was like finding the missing piece of my soul.
Needless to say, when Maxwell Stone cornered me at my local club to offer me not only a very generous compensation package to come on board as his personal flight attendant but also free housing on his private island where everyone lives the kind of life I’ve always dreamed of openly and without judgement, well, how could I turn him down?
But that was five years ago, and I’m no closer to finding a Daddy or a Mommy than I was back then.
Flopping down on my cloud-soft bed, I stare up at the ceiling of the plane.
What is it about me that makes me so undesirable? I have a good job, I’m polite, and when I do get the chance to play with a Mommy or a Daddy, I do my best to be sweet and obedient.
And yet, it never seems to be enough.
I never seem to be enough.
Restless now, I shove up from the bed to pace my small room. Maybe the problem really is me. So what makes me different from the women I’ve watched Mr. Stone and his friends bring to the island?
There’s Victoria, Mr. Stone’s Little girl. From what I’ve gathered during various eavesdropping sessions, she ended up in his care because she stole from him. Like a lot. But judging by the conversations I’ve overheard her having with her friends, she only did it because she was feeling desperate.
Then there’s Juliet, Mr. Blackwood's stepsister-turned-babygirl, who came running to her brother for help after she got caught stealing from a family friend. Apparently the threat of prison was enough to push her to come to the island, though I don’t think she really knew what she was getting into.
Isabella, the ballerina who was selling drugs on the side. Natalie, the reporter who got herself in over her head. Alexis, the catfishing scammer who got caught using Ms. Montgomery’s likeness to con rich men out of money.
Basically, they were all kind of a mess in their own way.
Is that what Daddies and Mommies are looking for? Someone to rescue? Is that the real reason I’m continually overlooked by everyone?
It makes sense, honestly. Caregivers need someone to give care to. It’s literally in their title. So if a Little girl doesn’t need to be taken care of, if she’s actually too independent, of course she isn’t going to catch the eye of someone who is looking for a Little one to save.
Ugh. Just the thought of putting myself in some kind of ridiculous situation I need to be “rescued” from has my tummy twisting with anxiety. I like my life orderly, with every “I” dotted and every “T” crossed.
So the question is, if my perfect Mommy or Daddy is looking for a Little girl who is a hot mess and needs to be rescued from her own bad decisions… how do I become that kind of Little when everything in me wants to be the complete opposite?
Kerry
With my new theory rattling around in my head, I pay extra attention to Mr. Stone and Victoria the rest of the flight. As always, Victoria earns herself a spanking about halfway through the trip because she refuses to eat the vegetables we served with lunch. It’s nothing new, but this time I notice how much more attention Mr. Stone pays to her after her punishment—feeding her by hand, cradling her on his lap and giving her a bottle. Even his smile seems bigger, brighter now that she requires more of his care.
And the more I think about it, the more I see this pattern emerge in my memories. Even Millie, the only Little girl in Mr. Stone’s “family” who I wouldn’t describe as a complete disaster of a human, always seems to find herself in trouble when she and Dr. Dreadful travel anywhere. And her Daddy genuinely does seem happiest when he has a reason to fuss over his babygirl.
I’ve always assumed that if I was good enough, obedient enough, if I wasn’t clingy or needy or bratty, I would have no problem finding myself a Daddy or a Mommy.
But it seems I was mistaken.
