She nodded, and he slapped her ass hard enough to make her cry out. “I’m with you, Daddy,” she said.
“Good girl,” he praised.
What was it about him calling a good girl that turned her inside out with need? He pressed his erection into her ass, and she sucked in her breath. And when he slid into her drenched pussy, she shouted out his name.
Soren set a punishing pace from behind her, pumping in and out of her pussy while his thighs slapped the back of her ass. Before she even knew what was happening, she found her release. “Daddy!” she shouted.
Soren didn’t stop fucking her. He took what he needed from her, making her orgasm last longer than she had ever imagined one could. And when he finally lost himself inside of her, Soren wrapped his arms around her. “Babygirl,” he breathed as he practically collapsed on top of her.
He pulled her into his body, and they fell onto the leather couch together. She wasn’t sure where he ended and she began, but it didn’t matter. Soren untied her wrists, pressing kisses to them both.
“Did I hurt you?” he asked.
“No,” she breathed, practically wrapping her body around him. “You were perfect.”
He chuckled. “Well, no one has ever accused me of being perfect, babygirl.”
She giggled against his chest, and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. Lily felt like the luckiest woman on the planet when she was with him. He was perfect for her, and now, her only question was—would this last? Because, God, she hoped that it would.
A sharp knock echoed through the office and both of them looked toward the door. “You good?” he asked, looking her over.
“Yes, I’m dressed,” she said.
Soren stood behind his desk in just his dress slacks, with no shirt. “Come in,” he called.
Luca cracked it open just enough to stick his head inside. "I hate interrupting—” He looked at the two of them and smiled. "Actually, that's a lie."
Soren sighed. "What is it?"
Luca's expression immediately turned serious. "Rachel's awake." The warmth inside Lily's chest cooled. "And she says she knows who ordered Collins' trafficking operation." Soren's smile disappeared completely. "There's more."
"What?" Soren growled.
Luca looked directly at Lily. "She says Lily's name was on the list."
The room fell deathly silent, and Lily's heart stopped.
"My name?” Her voice shook.
Soren's hand tightened around hers. "Don't jump to conclusions."
But she already had because she knew that Richard Collins hadn't kept her working late that night by accident. Someone had wanted her there.
Chapter Fifteen
Soren
Soren didn't react—not outwardly. Twenty years of leading men, dismantling criminal organizations, and negotiating with monsters had taught him one thing above all else. Emotion was a luxury, but control kept people alive. Inside, however, rage rolled through him like a tidal wave.
"Meet me in the command center," he said quietly.
Luca nodded. "I'll have the SUV ready."
Soren looked at Lily. "I won't be long."
Her green eyes searched his face. "You don't have to tell me what she says."
He nodded.
