Don’t Tie Me Down

She shakes her head again. “Please. I don’t know,” she moans. “I don’t know if I can…”

“Of course you can, sweet girl.” I kiss her shoulder as I bend over her, propping my foot on the stool to give myself better leverage.

“Roman, please…I don’t think…Oh my God…”

“That’s it. Right there. Fuck, baby…” I brush her hair from her eyes as I thrust, hitting that spot that I’ve quickly memorized.

Her head shakes from side to side, face twisted into a grimace, like she’s at war with herself, battling over control.

“Shh. Just let it go. I’ve got you,” I whisper against her neck as I feel my own release quickly rising to the surface.

“Oh my fucking God…”

“That’s it, baby. You look so pretty when you come.”

I feel her muscles tense up and she lets out another moan. My grip around her shoulder tightens, and then I’m coming right there with her.

A high-pitched ringing fills my ears as I slowly lower her to the ground.

My fingers move over each of the knots as I carefully untie her from the binds, making sure to check that nothing hurts.

Kira offers me a sleepy smile, blinking up at me with those dreamy eyes that tell me she’s still blissfully riding the high of subspace.

She’s so fucking cute. How is it possible for someone to be so goddamn sexy and cute at the same time? I think my heart may actually burst in my chest if I keep thinking about it.

“That was…” Her voice trails off, but she holds up her hand, forming a circle with her fingers.

Smiling like a fool, I lift her and carry her over to the bed. I help clean her up, then slide my T-shirt over her head before tucking her into bed.

She sits up a little, seemingly surprised when I crawl in beside her.

I kiss her forehead as I pull her closer, tucking her against my chest. “You did so well, sweet girl.”

The smile twitching at the corner of her lips is all the reassurance I need. I snuggle closer, telling her how proud I am of her, how beautiful she is, and how honored I am that she trusted me enough to surrender like that—taking advantage of this soft, receptive moment to start rewriting some of the cruel things she’s been taught to believe about herself.

“You are so fucking beautiful,” I whisper, as I gently caress her skin and press a kiss to the top of her head.

She offers me her arm, silently asking for more, and I happily oblige, my fingertips continuing their slow perusal over her skin.

Smiling to myself, I shake my head. If I wasn’t aware of it before, I am now.

I’m a fucking goner.

CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Kira

“Good morning, gorgeous. Are you hungry?” Roman’s deep voice bellows ahead of him before he waltzes into the dimly lit sex room.

Just like every morning since we started our…with benefits agreement, he’s carrying a tray of breakfast. I’m not exactly sure what with benefits…but those details aren’t really important.

The important thing to note is that I am benefiting more than I’ve ever benefited in my life… And in ways I didn’t know I was capable of.

Marguerite is going to lose her mind when I tell her—Tell her what? That my sexy billionaire boss has gone above and beyond the call of duty and is personally committed to helping me complete her list of rules? So committed that he had me tied up and hanging from the ceiling like a goddamn chandelier last night?

She’s practically a stranger. It’d be extremely inappropriate, not to mention major TMI.

Maybe I’ll leave out the boss part.
