A Lucky Little Christmas

“Sure?” he asks again, his breath warm against me.

“Please. I need this. I need you.”

He lifts my hand to his lips and kisses my palm. “You’ve got me, love.”

Killian sucks in a deep breath as he presses inside me; I hold mine. I expect it to sting a little—it’s been a while, and if I wasn’t so desperate for him, I would be intimidated by the size of him. But he moves slowly, gently, and it feels like fucking heaven.

“Breathe for me, Scar,” he says, his voice swirling over me like silk. He runs a finger over the apple of my cheek, and I open my eyes to look up at him, my breath rushing out of me. “Still with me, love?”

I open my mouth, but all that comes out is: “Fuck.”

“I know, I know. You feel so fucking good,” Killian groans, shifting and somehow reaching deeper inside me. “Almost there.”

Almost? What the fuck?

“Oh my god. Oh my god,” I chant as Killian presses into me fully. He threads his fingers through mine, holding my hands down on either side of my head as he leans down to kiss me. He’s not even moving yet; how does it feel like this already? I’m entirely consumed by him, like we’re not two separate things anymore, but blended together into something new. Something heady, and perfect, and pure fucking magic.

I don’t think anything has ever felt as good as the vibration of his growl over my jaw as he pulls out of me and presses himself in again, slowly. So goddamn slowly.

“More,” I whimper. “Faster. Harder. Please.”

His hands tighten on mine, and he plants a gentle kiss on my forehead. “You’re a dream, Scar. A fucking dream,” he says, and I don’t have time to process the awe in his voice before he obliges me.

More. Faster. Harder. God, I didn’t know what I was asking for.

I thought Killian was good with his mouth, but nothing could have prepared me for this. His body is perfectly in sync with mine, every stroke of his cock inside me perfectly timed to break me apart, piece by piece. I wrap my legs around him, as if I could possibly ever take him deeper.

Electric sparks sizzle over my skin wherever he touches me, but I can feel him everywhere—from the fiery blood coursing through my veins, to the haywire beat of the heart in my chest, to the very depths of the marrow of my bones. He’s branding himself on my body, my soul, and everywhere in between. Thank god we don’t have to pretend we’re only doing this once, because there’s not a chance that once could ever be enough.

Killian nuzzles his face against my neck, his lips and then his tongue brushing the sensitive skin. I cry out, my legs tightening around his back, my pussy tightening around his cock. “Oh fuck. I’m so close,” I say, or I try, at least. It’s a breathy mess, and I can’t make out his mumbled response, because his mouth is still against me.

But I feel it. I feel the increased urgency in his movements, the tremble in his hands, the thump of his heart where his chest is pressed to mine.

He lifts his head until his lips are at my ear, and whispers, “God, Scar. It’s never been like this.”

His words tip me over the edge, his name spilling from me over and over again as pleasure lashes me from every direction. Killian tenses, then melts into me with a sigh of my name as he follows along right behind me.

He’s right, I think, as we come down, still wrapped around each other. It’s never been like this. And I can’t imagine it ever being like this with anyone else.

What a simultaneously beautiful and terrifying thought.

I wake up warm for the first time since the weather turned. My face is buried against Killian’s chest; his arms are wrapped around me, enveloping me in the warm, comforting scent of him. My body is aching in the best way, and my heart is going haywire. This is not how I expected to wake this morning when I agreed to go to Grizzly’s, but it’s nice.

I shift, and the movement must wake Killian, because his arms tighten around me.

“Good morning.” His voice is scratchy, and he presses a kiss to the top of my head that makes me somehow warmer.

“Morning.”

I lean back enough that I can take in the sleepy expression on his face, the pillow lines creasing his left cheek. He looks younger like this. Relaxed.

Like he feels me looking at him, Killian opens his eyes, and his whole face lights up when they meet mine.

“Look at you,” he murmurs, releasing me from his bear hug, only to clasp my face. “Freaking out? Any regrets?”
