The lady in question is Annie Moore, the one who told him off at the bar but didn’t get the last word after all, because her family foundation and his family foundation teamed up to host the gala together, or something like that. I don’t know all the details, but I know she has a bunch of brothers, so they all split the charity work while juggling their respective careers, too.
I do know that Sebastian and Annie have seen each other since and have called a truce. I probably need to come up with a new line, but I don’t really feel like it. It gives me immense joy to provoke him sometimes, you know?
I stuff my phone in my pocket and walk outside for some fresh air while I wait for Sebastian to finish up. As soon as I exit the building, my phone vibrates in my pocket. I pull it out and glance down at the name on the screen.

Lettie: I take that back. You’ve helped enough

However, tonight my buddy is ignoring me completely and barely catching any of the game. His eyes are glued on his phone instead of the television.
I decide to match his style and grab my phone off his coffee table to send a text to my favorite strawberry-blonde girl.
Me: Your brother is giggling at his phone right now
Me: Should I send him help?
Her text back is quick.
Lettie: WHAT
Me: That’s all I know *shrug emoji*
Lettie: Omg. Do you think we should investigate?
I’m about to respond that it’s nothing to worry about, probably just him and Annie on really good terms now, but I realize she wrote we.
Me: Yes, definitely
Lettie: Okay, what should our plans be
