“You want to take me on your horse? Is that even possible?”
“Anythin’ is possible if I hae the will.”
“But… would we fall off?”
His breaths were heavy in my ear. His hand rubbing up and down, a snug hug of pressure all over me.
“Aye, there is a verra good chance.” His voice was husky when he asked, “Ye want me, mo leannan?”
“Yes.”
“Ye can barely think?”
“Yes.”
“Good,” he chuckled, “then ye are now in the same state as yer Torin.”
I laughed, “That isn’t fair!”
“Aye, tis, ye are usin’ yer wiles against me, enticin’ me with yer bonny… everything. Ye are teasin’ me by getting on my horse with me, I canna concentrate.”
I laughed. “Torin this is all your doing, besides the fact, we have been traveling and barely bathing for days. We smell frightful, you cannot find me enticing.”
He inhaled deeply. “Och, tis nae frightful, tis tantalizing.”
I groaned. “You’re incorrigible.”
He faked a high voice, “‘Och nae, what will I do, m’husband canna keep his hands off me and he thinks m’stench is wonderful, och, poor me.’”
He slid his hand up my thigh and put it down between my legs, groping and rubbing. I was wearing pants, but still….
I wriggled against his hand.
“Ye want me, Princess?”
“Yes.”
Another chuckle, but his hand remained between my legs. “Alas, I canna take ye on the horse though ye are beggin’ me. I only hae one good arm, ye ken ye would fall on the ground with one heave of m’ho.”
I was beginning to pant. “Stupid shoulder, it’s messing with everything.”
His hand continued to fondle in between my legs and he hitched me back a little bit up against him.
I said, breathlessly, “Torin… this is… such a surprise.”
His breath was warm against my ear. “Tis a promise. Tis what I am goin’ tae do when I get ye back tae the... inn.”
A farmer came down the lane. Torin quickly pulled his hand away, and nodded as we passed.
Then teased, “I am nae goin’ tae touch ye anymore, Princess, ye hae had enough.”
“I don’t know if I can wait.”
“Ye winna hae tae, we are here, just before the rain.”
