Destined For Her Alien Daddy

The world opens.

Light detonates through the chamber without brightness. Silver geometric waves erupt outward from the black structure, spreading across walls, floor, and air itself. Every floodlamp dies instantly. Gravity twists sideways hard enough to slam Teren into a support beam while Brakk crashes into the rubble pile behind him.

The structure unfolds.

Not physically.

Conceptually.

The chamber vanishes beneath me.

I stand inside a place before places existed.

Raw particulate chaos churns endlessly through impossible darkness where stars have not yet formed and matter has not stabilized into recognizable existence. Vast entities drift through boiling oceans of radiant probability while reality itself blooms and collapses around them in experimental waves.

My mind cannot fully process their shapes.

Every time I focus directly on them, perception recoils violently and translates fragments into survivable metaphors. I glimpse hands larger than solar systems. Voices sounding like collapsing dimensions. Thoughts moving through unstable physics like currents through water.

I hear laughter.

Not cruel laughter.

Casual laughter.

Careless laughter.

Entire universes ignite and vanish around the entities like sparks thrown from a forge. One folds unstable existence together experimentally while another watches with distracted curiosity. Galaxies form accidentally through recursive refinement cycles before collapsing again beneath revised constants.

Understanding crashes into me with horrifying force.

This is not divine creation.

This is experimentation.

Phrases move through the vision, not spoken aloud but understood instinctively.

ITERATION FAILURE.

RECALIBRATE CONSTANTS.

TRY AGAIN.

Terror floods through me because the entities are not malicious.

They are worse.

They are casual.

Reality itself emerged through repeated refinement, adjustment, and experimentation. Stars formed accidentally. Galaxies stabilized gradually. Conscious life emerged through recursive probability structures growing increasingly complex over incomprehensible spans of time.

Then I see smaller figures watching the process.

The Precursors.

Not creators.

Successors.
