MATTHEW
OMG Matthew – Aiden showed up here with your uncle Van and a new air conditioner for the window and a room unit for the living room. The difference is incredible. They are so awesome! But why?
They know I love you. That you are important. He wanted to help.
I didn’t expect it. None of us did. We fed him and Van lunch as a thank-you.
Did they eat you out of house and home?
They ate a massive amount, but we are all so grateful. We have to go shopping now, but it’s worth it! Thank you!
It makes me more relaxed knowing you aren’t suffering the heat in your room.
I love you and your thoughtfulness. I am so lucky.
I’m the lucky one, Maddy. I have you.
How was the first week?
Overwhelming. I can’t wrap my mind around how much work this will be.
Take it one day at a time, sweetheart. Remember to breathe, stay hydrated, and eat. I would add sleep, but I remember those days all too well. Try to get some rest when you can.
Thanks, Dr. VanRyan. I will take your advice under advisement.
If you were here, I’d give you a special injection. Maybe two.
Daily.
I wish I were. I love you.
Always, Maddy.
I miss you, Maddy, more than words can express.
I miss you too. Everything here is so unfamiliar and strange. School is brutal. I don’t think I was as prepared for this as I thought I was.
Can I do anything?
Just keep loving me.
Never gonna stop. And you’re gonna find your feet. I know it.
I love the faith you have in me.
Your biggest cheerleader.
I love you, Dr. VanRyan.
I know.
Thank you for the fast visit. So worth missing a few hours of study time.
I loved seeing you. Even for an hour. Thank goodness for layovers.
Was the conference good?
Not as good as kissing you. Wish it could have been more.
