Matthew. Oh God. Jesus. Thunderbolts, Zeus!
I shut my eyes as my orgasm hit me. Powerful. Intense. It shot up my balls and down my spine, meeting in the middle and sending me into the stratosphere. I came hard, the sensation profound.
She buried her face into my neck, her breath hot on my skin. I wrapped my arms around her, pulling the blanket we had pushed out of the way around her shoulders, not wanting her chilled.
“Zeus?” I teased. “Comparing me to the gods now, Maddy?”
“Shut up,” she mumbled without rancor. “Next time, you might not be so lucky. I could shout out dipshit or something.”
I laughed so hard, my stomach hurt. I loved her quirkiness.
I tested the shallow waters, and we lowered the ladder and slipped into the coolness. The ocean felt good, the sun overhead warming it up enough to be refreshing. We swam a bit, splashed around, then climbed back on the boat and dried off, sitting in the sun and allowing it to finish the job.
“I feel wanton and wicked,” she mused, her face turned up to the sun, the rays making her bare skin luminous.
“Because of earlier?” I asked.
“That, plus sitting naked on a boat where anyone could see us.”
“Nope. I would hear another boat and cover you up. We’re good. But if you’re feeling wanton…”
She laughed. “Give it up, Dr. VanRyan. I only had the one condom.”
“You need to talk to Sue about stamina. I’ve got it.”
She elbowed me, shaking her head in amusement. “You need to rein it in, buddy.”
I kissed her and reached for her shirt, helping her get it on. She watched me button it, stopping to kiss the skin before it was covered. She pulled up her damp hair into a haphazard bun, some tendrils escaping around her face and neck. I thought she looked enchanting.
We relaxed a while longer, sitting on the deck of the boat, sharing the blanket and letting the time pass by. The afternoon waned, the sun no longer as warm as it had been.
“Today was wonderful,” she murmured.
“How about we head back and find a little place for supper? There’s a great spot close to the wharf that I like.”
She regarded me for a moment. “You’re not sick of me?”
“Not even close.”
“I’d love that.”
“Okay.”
I helped her to her feet, tucking her close for a moment and holding her. She tilted her head back, and I kissed her tempting mouth. “Today was amazing,” I murmured. “Not planned, but so incredible. Thank you.”
“It was,” she agreed.
“Let’s go see what we can find.”
“Okay.”
She sat close on the boat ride back. I went slow, hating to see the day end. As we entered the marina, getting closer to the slip, I narrowed my eyes, trying to hold back a groan.
“Good God, tell me that isn’t who I think it is.”
She stood up, looking in the direction I was glaring.
“Who is it?”
