Toto’s Tormented Trio

by Lara London

I stop beside him, unable to think of a single thing to say. Nick doesn't meet my eyes as he gestures for me to go ahead.

I drop my gaze, flustered and unsure.

Then I do a double-take.

My heart pounds.

Part of me has been worried that he’ll think less of me for getting my rocks off with his brother at a time like this. But judging by the very obvious bulge in the front of his pants, maybe he didn't mind nearly as much as I thought.

Oh, Dottie. Please forgive me for all that I have yet to do.

Chapter seven

Nick

Fucking sneaky fucker .

I glare at the back of Granger's head, wishing I could take my frustration out with my fists on his stupid, smug face. It won't be so chiseled once I'm done with it.

I sacrificed myself so he could get the woman we loved to safety and the giant fucker took the opportunity to make her come. Hard.

Does a pact mean nothing among brothers anymore?

My eyes slide to Toto. It’s hard enough spending all this time with her, but now I’ve witnessed the beauty of her face in ecstasy, it's all I can think about.

Toto glances back, and I barely manage to lift my eyes from her perfect ass before she catches me. She ducks her head, blushing prettily, and I want to kiss her more than I want to live right now.

"Shit."

I startle as Leo throws his arms out, blocking us as we crest a hill.

Head in the game, Nick.

We join Leo and stare down into what appears to be a large chasm. It's not particularly wide, but it appears to be deep, with no end in sight.

Toto inches to the edge to get a better look.

"Careful, gorgeous," Granger warns.

Toto turns to look at him, and her foot slips on the pebbles at the edge. She shrieks in terror as she tips backward toward the gaping hole.

Leo launches himself forward, catching her and yanking her back. They hit the ground in a heap, both breathing heavily.

I can’t move.

For one terrible second, all I can see is what almost happened.

Toto falling. Disappearing into that endless chasm. Toto… gone.

My heart slams against my ribs as the realization settles in: we could have lost her.

"Thank you," Toto whispers as Leo stares down at her.

He nods abruptly, then scrambles off her and backs away.

Granger helps her up and brushes her off before pulling her in for a hug.

Leo’s eyes widen and dart to mine at their display of affection. I shake my head. I haven't had a chance to catch him up on the events back in the woods, and now is definitely not the time.
