Reaper’s Wrath

I sashay over and do as he says, looking like I’m about to be frisked.

Elio comes up behind me and tugs my hips back so that I’m bent at the waist, then unbuttons my jeans and yanks them down to my shoes. I’m naked from my waist to my ankles. We’re high enough up, and I’m angled such that no one can really see anything. But then, neither can I. My ears strain to hear what he’s doing while I keep my gaze fixed out the window.

Being so intimately exposed to him sends a wave of electric anticipation through my veins.

“As if I could smell you without having a taste.” His knees thud as they hit the ground before his strong hands splay me apart. He blows on my sensitive flesh first, the unexpected sensation making me gasp. Before I fully recover, his tongue sweeps along my slit in a reverent caress.

I moan and press backward.

Elio chuckles then locks his magical mouth over my core. He worships my slit, sucking and flicking and laving my clit until the pressure to come is too much.

My breath comes in shaky pants.

My open eyes see nothing.

I am pure sensation, welcoming the impending explosion of pleasure with open arms, except it recedes into darkness when Elio’s mouth disappears. The next thing I know, my pants are being tugged back up my legs.

“Wait, what are you doing?” I ask, disoriented.

He buttons the clasp, then kisses my cheek. “Giving you a little something to think about on the way home.” He pats my jean-clad ass. “Let’s go.”

If the smile on his face were any more devilish, I’d worry the man was possessed.

“Oh, you play dirty. How am I supposed to ride home like this?” I can feel myself dripping with need, core so swollen it's throbbing.

He takes my hand and presses my palm against his raging erection. “The same way I’m going to get home like this, thanks to you.” He leans a fraction closer. “The second we step foot on my ship, prepare to be fucked.”

“What about the men who are manning the boat?” I remind him breathlessly, already lost in the vision of his promised ecstasy.

“I’ll give them approximately ten seconds to get on the tender boat.”

“And if I’m not ready yet?” I ask coyly.

Elio’s eyes grow hooded. “Then I suggest you run.”

CHAPTER 60

ELIO

I text the two guys manning Calypso to have the tender boat ready so they can head out as soon as we arrive on the water taxi. They follow my orders to a T, waving from the tender when they pass us unloading at the back deck. The second Isa steps on board the yacht, she races inside.

A thrumming excitement fills my chest.

I step into the main lounge and close the glass door behind me. The night quiets as the taxi motors back toward the city skyline, painted in coral and tangerine from the setting sun. Anticipation of the hunt sends me back to a primordial age. My breathing slows and softens while my senses expand.

She’s here somewhere, waiting for me.

I love that she feels comfortable enough to play games with me. That’s the Isa I used to know. She was endlessly entertained by the challenge of keeping our relationship a secret, even though I was the one who had asked for secrecy. The threat of being caught made her giddy. My girl definitely has a playful side.

I take off my coat and silently pass through the lounge, then head downstairs, expecting her to be in our bedroom.

“Come here, little pet. Come out, come out, wherever you are,” I sing to her like the Big Bad Wolf on the heels of Little Red Riding Hood.

I’m met with silence. No Isa.

Interesting.

I continue my search with an irrepressible grin.
