Ozzie
Just dropped Melodie off. Why?

…
Ozzie
Just say boo and I’m there.
Dial
Boo.
It took less than fifteen minutes for Ozzie to pull up to my place. When he stepped out of his truck, I knew I’d made the right call. He was like fine wine—the more he aged, the handsomer he got. Growing up, Ozzie was my best friend; we’d told each other everything. Sometimes he’d even tell me stuff Cyrus shared with him in confidence. Back then I thought we’d be together forever. And, I guess, in some sick, twisted way, we were.
His strides were confident and his smile bright. “Hi, pretty lady.”
I’d been sitting on the steps anxiously awaiting his arrival. “Hi. Shelton Krause just creamed his pants on my porch.”
His eyebrows crept up his forehead. “Was that because of something you did?”
“No, something I said.”
“And what did you say?” His cowboy hat shielded his eyes.
“I just asked about his tongue strength. Had to kick him out for wasting my time.”
“Rough night for Shelton Krause.”
“It could’ve been the best night of his life. But he’s clearly a merry-go-round type-a guy.”
“And you’re the Cyclone rollercoaster with all the dips, flips, and upside-down whirlies.”
Ozzie clicked his tongue like people do to get a horse to move, and I hovered over the steps so he could pull my panties over my thighs. When you’d known someone as long as we had known each other, big chunks of conversation were conducted in shorthand.
“What do you wanna do?” He tucked my panties into his back pocket. “’Cause I’m down for whatever.”
I wanted him to do every ungodly thing to me and then hold me in his arms until we both drifted off to sleep. In the morning I’d wake up to his face, and he’d fuck me again before we headed to the kitchen—me cooking eggs and bacon, him cutting up fresh fruit, and we’d playfully bicker over whether to go on a hike or stop by the farmers’ market. “Why’d you threaten Evan?”
“Because he was trying to bully my girl.”
Wagging a finger, I corrected him. “I’m not your girl.”
“Even when you’re not my girl, you’re my girl.”
I wasn’t sure I agreed, but I decided not to press the matter. Because a part of me was tied to him even if it pained me to admit it. That was why he was here, in my front yard, and not at the Drunken Zombie or Melodie’s place. He was here because I needed him, not just for the fucking but for the company.
“I’m gonna play with my pussy and you’re gonna watch.” I bit down on my lip.
His smile was brilliant and reached his eyes, causing the corners to crinkle. “Okay, I love that for me.”
Ozzie pitched forward, and I caressed the side of his face as he leaned into my palm. Parting his lips with my thumb, I inched my fingers inside, feeding them to him, and he licked and sucked each digit with devoted attention until they were nice and slick.
“Eyes on me, cowboy,” I commanded before slipping my fingers from his mouth and sliding then across my slit.
Oz took a knee so he could have a front-row seat. “That’s so beautiful.”
