I groan. “Don’t. It was so fucking painful. And having her walking around in basically no clothes. Ridiculous.”
“Sweet dreams,” Hunter jokes.
“Fuck you,” I say as I hang up.
I’m going to be dreaming of Gianna, and I hope she’s dreamin’ about me too.
CHAPTER FORTY
Gianna
Song- Famous Last Words, My Chemical Romance
“Breakfast is served,” Colten says with a grin, two plates in his hand. I stop short of the kitchen island.
I don’t trust him not to start his prank revenge. I had to check my face in the mirror when I woke up to make sure he hadn’t drawn a dick on my head. I let him carry me to bed and tuck me in like a damn princess. I was sure I needed to sleep with one eye open, but my exhaustion overruled that.
“I’m sorry, I can’t eat that; I didn’t witness you cook it.” I keep walking, straight past him, and grab a bottle of water. The plates clatter down on the side, and his hand is on my waist, spinning me around, before both of his arms land on either side of me, trapping me.
“I’m sorry, did it sound like I was asking you a question, Gianna?” He pauses, eyes dropping to my lips. “Let me rephrase it: your doting husband has made you a delicious breakfast, and he’s going to watch you eat it.” His mouth curves up into a grin.
“And if I don’t?”
He pushes himself back up straight, clapping his hands together. “Then I’ll never cook for you again.”
I glance over at the food. Fluffy pancakes stacked with fruits and syrups. Dad never let us eat anything sweet for breakfast; he said it wasn’t healthy and that if we wanted to live long enough to survive him, we had to be fit. Hence why I never smoke around him. But it does smell divine. But I like winding him up more than I like eating.
“Oh no, how will I ever survive without a man cooking for me?” I say, batting my lashes.
“I swear on my parents' graves, I didn’t poison it,” he says, taking the bottle of water from my hands and finishing it.
“How do I know you didn’t bottle up all the cum from yesterday and use it for the pancake batter?”
That’s totally something Max would have done. He was disgusting sometimes.
He spits the water out and erupts into a coughing fit. “Your brain is warped, G. Warped.”
Grabbing his plate and silverware, he heads outside to the patio without me. Leaving me staring at a plate of food. “Fine,” I mutter, following behind him.
He doesn’t even look up when I sit opposite him. Ignoring him, I take a bite and a moan slips from my lips.
My eyes go wide as his gaze locks onto mine. “That’a girl.” He winks.
I hold up my fork. “This is a pretty good weapon, cowboy.”
That’s the moment my eyes drift down, and I’m almost salivating at this man’s six-pack.
“Each minute you stare, you owe me one hundred dollars,” he says dryly.
“You think you’re worth a hundred a minute. Wow.”
We both know he is worth that. Probably more. He’s fuckin’ hot. But I’d rather pay him the hundred than tell him to his face.
He drops his fork, and I snatch in a breath. “Just to look, yeah. You want more, we’re talking a starting point of five figures.”
A grin twitches at my lips. “So, if I wanted you to get on your knees and lick my pussy for breakfast, how much would we be talking?” I ask.
He rolls his shoulders. “First taste is free. Anything after that, ten thousand a go.”
