“We did it.” She beams.

Fuck. I love her.

“We did. Now would you like your final surprise, baby?”

She leans in, running her hand up my chest. “If it doesn’t involve you putting a baby inside of me, I’m going to fucking scream, Colten.”

A chuckle erupts from me. “You think we can deal with a newborn and merging to empires?”

I know we can. I’d never doubt it. I’d never doubt her. This woman can do anything.

“I don’t just know it; I’m confident. It’s us, Colt. We can do whatever we want.”

Threading my fingers through her black hair. “If I bend you over this desk, my brother is going to lose his shit,” I whisper.

She looks over my shoulder. “Yeah, he seems pissed already. Do you think he can hear?”

“Yes. I can hear, Colten. Don’t you fuckin’ dare,” Hunter calls from the door.

We all erupt into laughter.

“Fine,” I grunt.

I’ve got a few days of my wife all to myself. I’ll bend her over every surface available.

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED FIVE

Gianna

Colten really is pulling out all of the stops. We’ve arrived on our own private island in the Bahamas, in the most beautiful villa I’ve ever laid eyes on.

His hands are over my eyes as he leads me out into the yard. I honestly don’t know what else he can do.

“Only a few more steps,” he murmurs in my ear.

The floor wobbles beneath me, and I stop. He removes his hands, and the sunlight makes me squint. My heart pounds as I realize what I’m staring at. It’s a yacht similar to the one we bought, or he bought, in Greece, but this one is fucking ginormous.

“I couldn’t get the eight million euro one that caught your eye shipped here in time. So, I did the next best thing, bought you an even bigger one.”

He slides the keys into my hand, and I’m floored. In the same font as my Colton tattoo, it reads My Viper. He named a damn yacht after me. He’s treating me like a princess, and I love it.

“Where are we going to store a yacht in Arizona, cowboy?”

He laughs. “I was thinking perhaps we could leave it here on the private island we now own, that is exclusively for our vacations.”

I spin to face him. “So my husband is cash rich, huh?”

He shrugs. “I had a few hundred thousand transferred from my wife; I topped up the rest.”

I know how many millions an island here costs; I’ve been tempted to invest before, when I got bored of buying real estate in LA.

“Why?” I ask.

“Why what?”

“Why buy all of this when you have everything you need on the ranch?”

He twirls my dark curl around his finger. “Because when we were in that villa in Greece, I realized it was the first time I actually enjoyed being alive. I’d like to feel like that more. I think we’ve both worked hard enough to deserve some time off. Don’t you?”
