I arch a brow. “Okay, mystery man. What is the plan for right now?”
He hums, not answering my question as he leans in and steals a kiss and then another before dragging his lips down the side of my neck.
Later, my ass.
Breaking in the new bed is totally his plan.
“Wanna go for a ride?” he asks and a laugh bubbles out of me.
“On you or the bike?”
He barks out a laugh, pulling back enough to meet my eyes. “Bike now. Me, later.”
“Okay,” I say, flashing him a smile. He releases me and stands up straight, gripping my shoulders and pointing me to the back of the house where the garage is. I let out a yelp as his hand lands on my ass, the sting dulled only slightly by my jeans.
“Let’s go.” He grabs the key to the bike off the island. The leather jacket he insisted I wear when we ride is hanging on a nail in the wall next to the door and I eye it as we walk into the garage. I don’t even get a chance to protest before he’s snagging it off the hook and holding it out to me. “Not a fucking chance, baby.”
“It’s so damn hot, Dalton,” I whine and he shakes his head.
“I know but you need the protection.”
I sigh, gesturing to his bare arms. “And what about you? You ride around in a t-shirt.”
“And?”
I cross my arms over my chest, meeting his eyes. “And you need the protection, too.”
“No, I don’t,” he says, coming up to me and pulling my arms away from my body so he can put the jacket on me. To be fair, I am only wearing a tank top but still, it’s hot as hell out there and I’m going to be sweating like a pig by the time we get back. When he has the jacket on me, he leans down and presses a kiss to my lips. “This is not a fight you’re going to win, sweetheart.”
I groan, rolling my eyes. “You’re impossible.”
“You like it,” he answers with a smile and I shake my head.
“Prove it.”
He arches a brow, his smile turning salacious. “You wanna get into this again?”
“Yes.”
“Oh, Dalton,” he says, poorly imitating me and heat rushes to my cheeks. “Right there. Please don’t stop. Please, baby.”
I put my hand up and cover his mouth. “Okay, that’s enough of that. You can’t use what I say when I’m mid orgasm against me.”
“Why not?” he asks with a laugh. “That’s when you’re the most honest.”
I scoff. “I’m always honest.”
“Mm, okay… maybe it’s when you’re the most…forthcoming.”
Shaking my head, I give his shoulder a little shove. “Get on the bike.”
“So bossy, baby,” he teases, walking over to the bike and handing me the helmet from the seat. As I get my helmet on my head and secured he does the same and when we’re both ready, he holds his hand out to me to help me on the bike. Once I’m seated, he climbs on in front of me and my arms immediately wrap around his waist. He reaches for my hand and gently drags his thumb across the back of my hand before pressing the button to open the garage door. The engine of the bike rumbles to life beneath us, radiating up through my body and I let out a little hum as I settle in against his back.
I’ve really come to love riding the bike with him. The wind in my hair and the deep growl of the engine as it travels through my whole body. Being on the back of his bike, with him in total control, has quickly become one of my favorite places to be. Plus, being pressed up against Dalton the entire ride is a nice little bonus.
He makes it better.
He makes a lot of things better.
