Their Fierce Little Monster

Next thing I know, his lips are on mine, and the kiss deepens. It’s the kind that bursts across my mind and through my body, and euphoric waves rush down between my thighs. My brain fogs, and when he finally breaks our kiss, it takes me several moments to recover.

Then he’s gone, crossing the room and right out the door. Kazak is no longer in the doorway, and Lian’s just staring at me.

“You know it destroys me seeing you kiss him,” he says, grabbing my hand and dragging me down alongside him. “Share the couch with me tonight.” He kisses me all over my face, and just like Corvin, arousal flares through me.

I can’t even push these two away when I should, so how will I select one and walk away from the others?

“Dawn,” Kazak calls out.

“I really need to speak with Kazak after today,” I tell Lian.

“You’re everything to me,” he says, and his lips are on the corner of my mouth. Suddenly, we’re kissing. It’s soft and tender, and I moan against his mouth. I taste his hunger for me, and his hand slides up my thigh.

“You’re making it really difficult,” I whisper.

“So it’s working,” he purrs, and when I stare into his eyes, the depth of my attraction to him is almost unbearable. It makes me wonder if that bond between us is impacting me as much as it’s driving him wild.

As his hand slides up my shorts, I stop him and pull free because this isn’t going to end with us going too far. And I need Kazak to understand that he’s my world, but things have changed. Even if I don’t comprehend what I’m going to do.

“Sweet dreams,” I say and stroll into my bedroom.

“Leave the door open,” Lian replies.

Once I’m in the bedroom, Kazak comes out of the bathroom. I climb into bed because my bare feet are cold. He goes to the door. “Good night, asshole!”

“You’d better be sleeping on the floor, fucker. And if I hear any grunting, I’m coming in there so fast.”

Kazak slams the door shut and faces me with a satisfied grin.

“Can I join you?”

“Of course,” I say as if it’s a given, wanting to spend some alone time with him.

With a flick, he switches off the light. Moonlight peers in through the window, giving the room a faint bluish glow.

Kazak stands by the bed and drops his towel.

I pause, knowing I shouldn’t stare, yet my gaze falls instantly to the heavy cock dangling between his legs. Even in the dark, I see enough to remember just what I had in my mouth back in the village and how much it stirs an irresistible craving.

He slides in under the sheets, and I quickly divert my eyes to the ceiling, pretending I hadn’t just been checking out his dick. Here I am in my shorts and tank top, but he’s buck naked.

We both adjust and end up facing each other from the opposite sides of the bed. At first, neither of us says a word, but I slide my feet over to his side and slip between his calves.

He doesn’t resist. “Want me to hold you, as your toes are ice?”

“For some reason, they’re always cold, but the rest of me is perfect. And I can’t tell you how happy I am that you’re out of that horrible dungeon.”

“I prefer it here too.” He grins. “I thought about you every single moment.”

“Highly doubt that,” I whisper, trying to keep my voice low so I don’t encourage Lian to come and investigate.

“Solitude gives a man a lot of time to do nothing but think.”

“I remember when I’d be locked up in the village for a full day and night, and I hated it. I wish I could have visited you in the dungeon more frequently and kept you company.” He used to do that for me all the time, and I wouldn’t have survived without hearing his voice. “Anyway, your company might balance the chaos with Lian and Corvin.”

“Not sure that’s the word I’d use. They’re so smitten with you, Dawn, that it’s breaking me apart.” He shuts his eyes as if attempting to calm himself down.

I reach over, my fingers curling around his arm. “Is there ever a scenario where you might ever get along with them?”
