“Mmm, that’s true. None of my other partners has ever been willing to indulge in their perversions so expertly.” He slid his hips forward in a jerk, the horse responding by leaping over the tiniest of rocks. But the movement plunged the wooden dildo deep inside of me and stole a gasp of ecstasy from me. Every single nodule on the extension of the woods around me slid free and then found a place nestled within my clenching depths.

The horse returned to its slow plodding pace, and when I whimpered, Brittle Spear chuckled. “We’re almost clear of the woods now, Banfhlaith. You have so little time to show them exactly how much you fucking love being used.”

“Better make it count then,” I hissed and squeezed the horse with my heel to urge it on. Thankfully, it responded; I would have lost my mind if it hadn’t. Its pace picked up into a steady trot, and I gripped onto Brittle Spear’s thigh to keep me from both falling off and to keep my seat atop the plunging cock within me. I would scream if it were dislodged and I could not get over the edge of the cliff that we were racing toward.

I just needed a little longer. Just a little bit more. Already, I could feel my core tightening like a spring, ready to explode. I was seconds away from begging him to plunge his fingers into my ass. To fill me up and shove me, not just off that cliff but into space itself, but our wager reminded me not to.

My breathless, ragged pants turned needy and whiny, my hand keeping pace with my own chase of the orgasm building around the wooden cock. Behind me, I could feel him tensing, his own spring drawing taut.

“Oh, we can do better than that, my beautiful little fuck doll. Can’t we?” He urged the horse on again, and the pace ratcheted up to nearly unbearable as we shot through the woods. Every heavy footfall fucking me deep and hard. Every pound of hooves on leaf litter scoring my tender pussy with delicious nubs.

“Fuck!” I whispered and dug my claws into his thigh.

“Come for the Fómhar woods, Banfhlaith,” he purred into my ear.

I came undone. The world ceased to exist beyond the crackle of pleasure that burned like steel wool across my nerves and ripped sanity away from me. I couldn’t even scream his name. I couldn’t do anything but hold on for dear life as wave after wave followed the horse beneath me and dragged rolling divinity through my veins.

The horse began to slow and finally fell back into the careful plod of a lazy walk, and I drew breath for the first time in what seemed like forever. Brittle Spears’ fingers came away from my breast, left my throbbing, burning clit, and wrapped around my waist to raise me. Slowly, I felt the hard cock be slid from my quivering and spent flesh. It passed before my eyes, dripping wet and soaked with my juices, and as I watched it, it found a home in Brittle Spear’s mouth. His eyes watched me as he licked and sucked the cock clean and free of every last drop.

“Would that I could keep this. As a trophy of your wonders.” A soft kiss was placed on the top of my head. “But the woods would have it back.”

He snapped his wrist, and the cock shrank back into nothing more than a twig before it was hurled back into the woods.

Chapter 26

Cricket

Iwas shivering, every inch of my body feeling like every cell had exploded with my passion. He smiled, wonder and tenderness warring into a deep loving affection as he smoothed my dress down over my legs and settled my bodice back into place. “You are the greatest gift magic could have ever allowed me to share in. I have longed for a match in debauchery and cunning. You are both. Thank you for sharing yourself with me.”

Another kiss was placed on my head, and we fell into a contented silence for the rest of the ride until we stopped at a stream to take lunch. Brittle Spear did not allow me to slide clear of the horse myself; his large hands wrapped around my waist and plucked me from the saddle as if I were the most delicate and dainty maiden. He even dusted a few fallen leaves from my skirts before tucking my hand into the crook of his arm and escorting me to the horse blanket that had been spread out for us to share lunch.

“You two were talkative,” baited Green Man as he came to sit next to me, as Brittle Spear spoke with a scout who had found us.

“Were we?” I didn’t know how much our companions had seen or heard from our horseback tryst.

“Spent the whole ride listening to you two talk about books. I never knew you were such a reader.” He plucked a grape off my charger and took a healthy drink of the cool, clear water in the tankard next to me.

My eyes found Brittle Spear, and I smirked secretively. That bastard had let me fantasize about being found out, and yet the whole time, he was using some form of magic to make everyone else think we were just a few paces ahead and chatting about books, of all things. It was sweet, and warmth dripped into my heart. It was true safety that he had offered. Even when he knew I would enjoy the idea of being found out, he would not allow anyone to interfere with our time together. He offered me a safe place and an encounter without risking the others knowing exactly what games we would play.

No one had truly been that considerate to me in a very long time. My heart twisted knotting itself around the simple sentiment.

“Yeah, I was telling him about how I have a copy of the Onomastic Priority in my bag.” I looked up into his dark eyes. “We still have it, right?”

“Yeah, I think so. Goose has been particular about making sure that whenever I move, he keeps his eyes on me. What’s in that thing anyway?”

I shrugged, leaning back to let the crisp sun warm my skin and the deep purple of my gown. “Book, a chunk of iron, some odds and ends. Nothing really important. You know how Goose is, though. He gets protective of things he sees as mine. Is it really that shocking?”

“No, I guess not.”

Emerald came to find us, sat directly in front of me, and began flashing images of her conversations with the soldiers, small things she was excited about that she had experienced along the way. Some of the soldiers had been kind enough to keep the living gem amused. I would have to thank them for their kindness somehow. I memorized the faces in the images playing across Emerald’s smoke as Green Man wandered off.

“I’m glad they were kind to you, Nothing. Did you get enough to eat?” She nodded and turned to lay her head in my lap. She had become fond of staring up at the passing clouds. I let my fingers run through her hair, stopping when I hit resistance from the braids. “Good. I don’t know if I trust all of them just yet, but the fact that they’re being kind to you and the others has done a lot for me to think that maybe all Fae aren’t garbage.”

Emerald flashed a hazy, lazy cautionary image, and I snorted. “I know. I will be. Just because I said I liked that they were being kind doesn’t mean I’m letting them off the hook.”

Brittle Spear made a slow progression away from his scouts toward Emerald and me, giving me time to shoo him away if our conversation was private. I gave him a welcoming smile, and he joined us. “It seems an invitation has been sent for me. One that I will need to respond to but not one I must attend to eminently.”

His tall body folded and came to rest behind me, drawing my back against his chest as support.
