Shirtless.
Barefoot.
One arm behind his head.
He looks at me.
And stops.
The grin disappears for half a second and my heart does a clumsy flipflop in my chest.
Then his smirk returns. “That’s a good look on you.”
“Don’t.”
“My clothes?”
“Ryder.”
“My bed?”
“This isn’t your bed.”
“I paid for it.”
“You’re exhausting.”
His gaze runs down my bare legs. “Turn around.”
“No.”
“Come on.”
“No.”
“Want to see how much of my shirt is covering your ass.”
My mouth falls open.
He grins. “You make this too easy.”
I climb onto the far side of the bed and drag the blanket over myself. “Stay on your side.”
He looks at the enormous mattress. “Which side?”
“That one.”
“Very specific.”
I grab a pillow and place it between us.
Ryder stares at it. “What the fuck is that?”
“A boundary.”
“That’s a pillow.”
“Tonight it’s a boundary.”
