Axel snorted. “Yeah, it was a wild fucking night here.”

“Anyone claim it?”

There was a long stretch of silence.

“Who’s asking?”

“Me. It’s personal.”

“What’s it worth to you, Jek?”

“A lot, so what do you fucking want?”

“I want to talk to Ace.”

This was going to be a big favor.

“I’ll make that happen. Give me ten and then call him.”

“Alright.” The call ended, and he shoved his phone in his pocket. He walked back into the clubhouse. Some of the members had moved from the table to the bar. He walked over to Ace.

“Cross tell you about my request?”

Ace gave a curt nod.

“Axel is gonna call you.”

Ace’s hand stilled at his mouth, holding a cigarette. He eyed Jekyll and arched his brow.

“He’s looking for a trade.”

“For what?”

“The guy who took out Imogene’s dad on the inside.”

At that exact moment, Ace’s phone rang. He stood and stalked to the back wing, gesturing for Cross to follow him.

Jekyll grabbed a beer from the bar and took a seat at the table with the others. No one seemed to have noticed Ace’s abrupt departure. Except Cypher.

Fifteen minutes later, Cross called all the brothers into a meeting. Once everyone filed in, Ace sat down.

“Just got off the phone with Axel. Looks like him and Slater will be getting out next month.”

“What does that have to do with us?” Oak asked.

Ace looked over at Jekyll. “They want us to align with them.”

Jekyll had known the information would cost him, but not this big.

Wraith narrowed his gaze. “The Satan’s and us? That’s a hard fucking no from me.”

Ghost lifted his hand. “I’m not even entertaining that shit.”

“They don’t want to align clubs. They want our help destroying their own.”

Gent snorted. “Are you fucking kidding me?”

Ace shook his head. “No, and considering what we got going on with Satan’s, this will work in our favor if we help them. Griggs and Spinner may be running things now, but Axel and Slater know all their connections.”
