“Calling Pierce.”

“A doctor.”

“Because you swallowed a fucking handcuff key.”

I unlock the phone.

“Okay, don't do that.”

I look at her. “Why?”

She bites her bottom lip.

My eyes narrow. “Chaos.”

“I didn't actually swallow it.”

I slowly lower the phone.

She smiles.

I continue staring.

Her smile weakens. “Surprise?”

“Where is it?”

“Safe.”

“Where?”

“Very safe.”
