Pucking My Bad Boy Enemy

He kisses down my body making good on every word, and the last coherent thing I do for a while is laugh, breathless and free.

There's no lesson, no plan. No hiding. Just my fiance working me open with his mouth and his hands like he's got the rest of his life to do it.

And somewhere in the middle, the laughing turns into something that aches in a good way.

"Say it." His breath is hot against me, two fingers deep, his thumb rolling my clit, and I know what he wants to hear because it's what I’ve wanted to hear too.

"I love you."

He crawls up my body, lines himself up and pushes into me, both of us groaning at how good this feels. "I love you, my sexy little kitten."

I come apart around him with his ring on my hand and his name in my mouth, and he follows me over, and after, he doesn’t let me go.

He holds me in the dark.

"So." His voice rumbles under my ear, his fingers tracing the ring like he can't believe I’m wearing it. "For the record, you calling me Puckboy was fucking hot. I’ll never get tired of being your Puckboy."

I prop my chin on his chest and lift an eyebrow. "You said you'd be a god. Jury's still out on that, by the way."

"Rude." He rolls me under him again, grinning down at me. "Then round two is a rebuttal. For the record."

I laugh so hard and can’t seem to stop that he has to kiss me quiet, and nothing is bigger than this. This thing I never planned for.

He loves me and he’s mine.

"If you faint, I'm not catching you." Ryker adjusts my tie. "I want it on the record. You go down, you go down alone."

"You're the worst best man's assistant in history."

"I'm not your best man's assistant. I'm just here. Emotionally." He steps back and looks at me, and his grin goes soft. "You good, Hunter?"

"I've never been better in my life."

"Gross." He claps my shoulder.

We're in a field behind a barn an hour outside the city, because Margot wanted grass under her feet and sky over her head and to be surrounded by people we love.

Forty white chairs on the lawn. String lights we don't need yet, because the sun's still gold and low.

The whole team's here in the good suits they complain about, and it is the quietest I've ever seen them, and I know for a fact it will not last.

Mason is in the second row in his weird colored suit and he informed me this morning, he’s wearing his lucky socks. My goalie tells me in a whisper, a wedding is a big game, the biggest game in our life. And he says it like he’s holding the secrets of the universe.

I looked towards my other teammates. Noah already has a handkerchief out and we haven’t even started.

Aiden and Harper are up front, Harper crying preemptively.

And on the aisle. Derek, six and a half feet of enforcer folded into a charcoal suit, is sitting next to Dr. Olivia Carter, and the two of them are whispering to each other.

Ryker leans over. "Twenty says those two are next. I've got a whole board running."

"Stay off the board, Ryker. It's my wedding day."

"Everything's on the board. We can’t miss these moments. Our lives are changing for the better."
