SOS Hotel: Halloween: One Star Nightmare

Zee yelped, dropped his hands, and covered his valuables.
“Zee, you gotta say please,” I told him.
“I could have pressed the fuckin’ button myself by now.”
“Do you want to keep your penis, demon?” Victor said between his teeth.
Our vampire was getting impatient for bedroom antics.
Zee snickered. Victor saying penis always brightened his mood. “Please press the button, little guy.”
Jimmy spun the knife again, wings fluttering faster.
“WHAT?!? I said the fucking P word! Not penis, the other one!”
“You can’t mention he’s small,” I mumbled under my breath. Zee knew this about our newest bellhop, but he didn’t take the elevator often.
“But he is small! Look at him.” He thrust out his hands, then rapidly re-covered his private parts again. “I have bigger dildos.”
“We should have taken the stairs,” Victor sighed.
“Use your manners,” I told Zee. “Remember?”
“Ugh.” Zee’s shoulders dropped. “Why is everyone picking on me tonight? Is it fuck with Zee evening? Did I not get the memo—”
Victor’s hand came down on Zee’s shoulder and gently squeezed. He leaned closer and whispered in Zee’s ear. Whatever he said, the tension in Zee’s body immediately drained away.
If Zee didn’t politely de-escalate our pixie situation, we’d be stuck in the elevator all night, and there would be no between-the-sheets action for anyone. Even I was beginning to get impatient for some downtime.
Zee sucked in a deep breath, and then sighed out slowly. “Please, dear Jimmy, would you kindly press the button for our floor so we may proceed with our evening in a timely manner?”
That all came out of Zee, but sounded exactly like Victor. I blinked, impressed Zee could even pretend to be measured and polite.
Jimmy narrowed his eyes, jutted out his chin, and huffed. But he also tucked the blade away, turned, and jabbed the button for our floor.
Finally, we were on our way to bed. Hmm. Warm, soft bedsheets, two firm, sexy men either side of me—one a demon, the other a vampire—both knowing exactly what they were doing, and what I liked.
I slipped my hand into Victor’s. His fingers closed around mine.
I was going to enjoy what came next.
The elevator arrived at our floor with a ping. The doors opened. Zee spilled out, gasping and staggering on his heels. “Ugh, how the fuck do you do it, Spicy Fangs? All that uptight composure and perfect vocabulary. I could feel my asshole shrinking into my soul.” He clutched a fist to his chest, then raised the same hand to his forehead and pretended to swoon. “My whole world turned gray. There was a light.” He walked backward down the corridor. “Damn, I almost followed it . . . You know where it would have taken me . . . that light?”
“Do enlighten us,” Victor said.
“HR.”
I snickered. Victor’s mouth ticked and his eyes brightened, which from him was the same as a full-blown belly laugh.
I loved the pair of them. They made my heart sing, my body soar, and my world a better place for sharing it with me. We’d go to Victor’s room, because his suite had the biggest bed—and the restraints he sometimes liked—and then we’d spend the next few hours lost to each other in ways that went beyond the physical. When we uh . . . combined, the burst of mingled power also helped strengthen the hotel’s wards, keeping those with nasty intentions out. A win-win, for everyone involved.
Victor’s room was a few steps way, when he tossed the key to Zee, turned on his heel, and scooped an arm around my waist, drawing me into a sudden, powerful kiss. His lips skimmed mine, asking permission. He never did anything without consent. He also knew Zee would get off on the lust we generated. Like I said, win-win. It seemed like he couldn’t wait until we got though his bedroom door.
I flung my arms around his neck and pulled him in deeper. My body lit up like flare signaling for help, except I didn’t need saving, not from him. Sharp fangs skimmed my tongue. Kissing Victor was always a thrill. He couldn’t hurt me, no matter what he did, neither of them could, but that didn’t stop him from treating me like someone to be revered. I needed this, needed him, needed Zee.
I brought a hand back down and slid it under his jacket, shoving it off one arm as I walked him backward, toward the open bedroom door. Zee would already be inside, his own incubus power sparking to life.
“I fear my patience is threadbare,” Victor mumbled between breaths and around tongues.
