“God,” she exhales, rolling her head against the wall, taking rushed breaths. I’m still shaking from my orgasm, my head tucked into Dion’s neck. “Please just go soft now, because if you don’t, I’m going to want another round and our families are downstairs.”
“It doesn’t go soft on command,” I mumble, trying to find my own breath after that. I won’t even put it to shame by calling it an angry-fuck. At one point, I was going so fast, and so hard, I wondered if I’d be able to leave an imprint of myself inside of Dion.
“My life would be so much simpler if it did,” she tells me, kissing my shoulder where he left teeth marks. “Because my beaver only wants what’s currently filling it.”
Naturally, when I straighten I thrust up, and she moans. “Mika, don’t start something you can’t finish. Or in our case, explain. Because I wasn’t kidding about going again.”
“They already know we fuck for funsies, Dion, you made sure of that. Why bother with niceties now?”
Okay, so maybe I’m still salty over what’s transpired between us since the not-a-sleepover, and her online shenanigans, but if I’m honest with myself, I can’t get enough of Dion either. Even worse? I kind of hated this week without her, which baffles me. I had good reason to ignore her attempts at reaching out, and yet, the moment the opportunity to have sex with her again arose, I grabbed it — and her — with both hands.
“Then don’t be nice,” Dion says, licking my lips. “I can take it.”
There’s an art to fucking in a shower without slipping and falling flat on your face, and by God, Dion and I perfect it. Even when it’s my back against the wall, we give it all we’ve got until we’re shaking, and doing our best to use each other to stifle our noise. “You’re so fucking addictive,” she says, giving me a rather tired, and lazy smile. A feat, considering what we just did to each other. “But we really need to get out now, my daughter will absolutely have questions.”
I brush my finger over her clit, and play with it, taking immense pleasure in the way her body spasms. “If you say so.”
I let her down and reach for the two towels hanging on the heated towel racks. Handing one to Dion, I wrap the other around my waist, and walk into my bedroom in search of clean clothes. What I was wearing at the shelter will have to be thrown away, and the same goes for what Dion was wearing. I turn to ask Dion if she’ll be fine wearing a dress Nyree left — not that she has much choice — but when I see her face, there is no humor. Our playfulness, and our savage-like need for each other, has dissipated like the steam in the shower.
Dion’s lip trembles, and for the first time, I see her vulnerability. Not only as a woman, but as a person.
“C’mere.” I hold my arm out, and she tucks herself into my side. With both arms around her, I let her cry because however strong she wants people to think she is, beneath that exterior is a heart that beats like everyone else’s. What she experienced today will upset anyone. When she’s calm, we get dressed, and before we walk out, I do something I know I’ll regret later. I kiss her. Like she’s more than a friend with benefits.
“Mika…” she sighs.
“I know. Just go with it for today, okay? Tomorrow we can go back to whatever we’re doing.”
“Okay. Just for today. And just because I’m too tired to remind myself you’re nothing more than a good fuck. A really good fuck.”
