“I’d love too.” He hopped in. “Stop it,” he said and spanked Axel’s butt. And then he giggled.

Gah! I’d forgotten William’s favorite thing was man butts! “Someone stop them!” I yelled. “RJ! Liam! Jacob!” Where the hell was everyone?!

No one else seemed to want to intervene. There had to be something here somewhere to hit them with to make them stop. A broom! I needed a broom! I ran toward one of the closets and threw open the door. It was empty. Well, that wasn’t helpful.

“Axel, stop it!” Scarlett yelled. “You’re going to kill him!”

Ah! No one was supposed to die at a Christmas Adam party!

Everyone kept chanting, “Fight, fight, fight,” louder and louder.

I threw open another door and something flew out and attacked me.

I fell backward. Ow. I looked down at the furry thing on my chest and screamed at the top of my lungs. I hit it, but it latched onto my boobs with its furry little hands. And then it lifted its little monkey head to glare at me.

“Ah!”

The monkey squeezed my boobs and started hopping up and down shrieking. And then I was surrounded by more handsy little demons. They stormed out of the closet like crazed monsters. They started running in every direction.

When Mr. Tanner had said don’t let the monkeys out, I didn’t think he’d shoved them in the freaking closet! What the hell?!

One of the monkeys jumped up onto the fairy lights and started pulling.

Another monkey ripped Natalivanka’s bikini top clean off. She didn’t seem to mind though.

And another monkey attacked a guy’s head.

Everyone started screaming and running around.

I shoved the monkey off of me and stood up. A monkey jumped onto Axel, knocking him backward into the water.

Well, I was grateful for that one monkey. Because at least Axel wasn’t drowning Leo anymore. But the rest of the monkeys were pure chaos!

Scarlett backed away from a monkey and tripped off the bridge. Axel caught her before she could fall into the water.

Coffee plants toppled to the floor, their ceramic pots shattering. The monkeys kept pulling on the string lights. Which were attached to the foliage on the walls. Flowers and vines started ripping off the walls.

Some guy sneezed as a flower hit him in the face.

“Naked water fight!” William yelled and ripped his boxers off. He tackled some guy into the water.

No! Bad, William! Stop adding to the chaos!

Everyone was screaming and tripping over carnage and monkeys.

And then snow started failing.

Wait. What?

I hadn’t even realized we still had that machine here. I turned toward the corner where it was blasting from. A monkey was hitting all the buttons on it.

I laughed. Because what else could I do?

It was like a beautiful Christmas nightmare. I kept laughing.

“Why are you laughing?” RJ asked. “I think those handsy monkeys have rabies. One smacked my ass.”

I kept laughing. “Now you show up. Axel almost killed Leo.” I started laughing harder.
