You Keep On Giving

The woman releases us, turning and snatching a young boy into her arms. “I’m sorry, Finn. Will you forgive me if I split it with you?” She doesn’t give the boy a chance to answer, peppering kisses across his face.

“Sybil, I’m pretty sure Julie dropped a stink bomb in her pants.” A deep voice cuts through the childish giggles and another body joins us in the small welcome area. I have to fight to keep my jaw from dropping as I take in the knockout holding out a small child a look of discomfort on his face.

Holy ravioli.

My belly swoops as I let my gaze travel over from point to sexy point of this stranger. Hair as black as ink, sapphire blue eyes, and a square jaw I want to lick. And his body, oh his body. He’s not as tall as the woman or Mars, but tall enough I could tuck my head into his neck as he held me tight, hands drifting down until those long fingers could dig into my ass and completely destroy any space between us.

“Sorry about that, York. I’ll take care of her.” The woman, Sybil, scoops the young girl into her arms and leaves us as she walks deeper into the house. “How about a sixty/forty split? You know, since you cheated.” The older boy asks as he trails after Sybil, trying to convince his mother he deserves the majority since he’s not a cheater.

A surprised giggle escapes me as I listen to the mother and son argue over as they get further into the house. That kid’s spitfire and I can’t wait to see what other antics he pulls out this week.

YORK

Reese is running late and Julie just took the loudest crap I’ve ever heard in my life. The three year old hardly lets me hold her anymore and right now, I’m wondering if that was for the better.

My arm I’m using to cradle her bottom half if slowly starting to get hot. Nope. Not changing a diaper on the first day of family vacation. Maybe in a day or two but not today. At least not this early in the morning. I tickle my niece under her chin as I start the search for her parents.

“Sybil, I’m pretty sure Julie just dropped a stink bomb in her pants.” I’m holding back a gag because the smell has started to saturate the air around us. Sybil, thankfully, is quick to swoop in and takes her children back into the house. Finn trails after her, trying to bargain with his mother to get more of the fifty dollars Mother announced she was giving out.

A soft giggle draws my attention to the closed front door. Standing next to my mother is Ms. Bergen. Her cheeks glow pink when she realizes she’s caught my attention. I like that.

Her tongue darts out, providing some moisture on her bottom lip. The lip is plush, I wonder how pillowy it would feel if I took a bite of it. I like that, too.

“York, darling. I’m so excited to introduce you to my dear Sage. Sage, dear. This is my darling eldest child, York. He’s the gentleman who gets the pleasure of hosting us for the week.”

“Nice to meet you, Ms. Bergen." The pink of her cheeks turns to a warm red and my gaze flicks to my mother. “Mother, how was your flight?” I’m doing my best to keep my focus on the family matriarch. I don’t like the feeling burning in my stomach, the urge to return my gaze to Sage is already bothering me with its intensity.

“Oh, darling, it was lovely. Sage is really the best travel companion.” My mother gushes, taking Sage’s hand and pulling her forward. “Come on, dear. Let’s give you a tour.”

Sage follows after my mother, glancing back at me with a sheepish smile. “Thank you for inviting me into your home.” Damn, her voice is as sweet as the rest of her.

I do my best to keep my eyes above her shoulders, forcing myself to try and catalogue all the different shades of red in her hair or how the light hits it just so to tease me with the occasional blonde strand but I almost can’t stop myself from dropping my gaze to take in the rest of her luscious body once her focus returns to my mother who is telling her… something.

It seems like all sounds leave the room as I take in the sight of her backside. Damn, that ass. Bouncing with each step, the sexiest metronome, keeping time with my heartbeat.

And those thighs. The perfect place to rest my head as I feast on the treasure cuddled at the apex.

“Hey! Who locked the door!” Reese’s voice is muffled, the door handle jiggling as he tries to get in. I puff out a breath, the surprise of my brother pulling me out of my inappropriate thoughts. I shake my head trying to cool my overheated blood.

“Stop shaking the handle and I can let you in.” I call out to my little brother. Being the little shit he is, he shakes the handle once more before seemingly taking a step back.

“Dude. It’s dark outside. I was worried I’d walked up to the wrong house. Mars waved me down before shutting the freaking garage door on me.” Reese looks so offended, I can’t help but chuckle.

“Sounds like Mars. Come on, we’ve got a grazing table set up, and before you ask, don’t worry there are no nuts.”

Reese pats his stomach, easily satisfied by my reassurance his allergy has been thought of.

“Am I the last one? How’s Mom?”

“Already starting her hijinxs. She offered fifty bucks to whoever gave her a hug first.”

Reese barks out a laugh, dropping his luggage before following me deeper into the house. “Let me guess, Mars won?”

“Nah, he was unloading luggage. Sybil ran so fast, she left a trail of smoke in her wake.” Reese smiles at that. Sybil, Mars’ wife, is the most competitive woman I’ve ever met and never backs down from a challenge. The fact that her child was the only other competitor wouldn’t deter her in the slightest.

“What about the cook?” Reese drops his voice into an almost whisper. My hackles rise slightly, knowing that Reese isn’t blind and probably closer in age to our mother’s companion.
