They made their way into the hotel, and Caleb took her straight toward the elevator. This was not something she ever did, and her heart started to race. Had she made a mistake?
Stepping into the elevator, they were alone, and as soon as the doors closed, Caleb shocked her by pressing her against the far corner of the elevator. “I’ve been waiting to do this all night.”
He sunk his fingers into her hair, tilting her head back, and then she finally knew what it meant to be ravished by a man. The kiss was not gentle and she didn’t care.
She put her hands on his chest, but she had no intention of pushing him away. Sliding her hands up, she wrapped them around the back of his neck and released a moan, whimpering as his body touched hers. There was no time for nerves and awkwardness, not with how direct and in control Caleb was of the situation.
Gemma felt how hard he was ... everywhere. No man ever was hard for her, and yet she felt the length of his cock.
The elevator was too small.
He broke the kiss, but his lips trailed down toward her neck, and she gasped as he bit down, not hard, but enough to make her ache.
The bell of the elevator pulled them apart, and he took her hand. She was not going to stop what was about to happen next. She was on cloud nine as he pulled out his card, and within seconds, they were inside his hotel room.
Gemma barely knew this man, but she did not want this to stop. It felt so good. So only hoped the fantasy didn’t end after tonight.
Caleb kicked the door closed, and suddenly, she was in his strong arms, and he carried her to the bedroom. She didn’t get a chance to take a good look at his hotel room, which was like more of a small apartment than a room.
He dropped her to the edge of the bed, and he reached behind her, pulling up her fancy shirt. She let out a little moan, and he flicked the catch of her bra at the same time.
It was all moving so fast, but Gemma didn’t want to slow it down. She was nervous because she was a virgin. She’d never been with a man before. And she was afraid he could only be after one thing. Dating was hard work and stressful. She was all alone, and trusting in this day and age was so hard.
Gemma pushed that out of her mind. Caleb hadn’t given her a reason to not trust him, and she’d never felt this way about anyone.
He pulled back, and she looked up at him. She was sitting in just her skirt and no longer wearing a bra. She was tempted to cover her breasts, but he was there. His hands going to her wrists as he pulled them out of the way.
“You don’t have to hide from me, not at all.” He groaned. “You’re perfection.”
No one ever thought of her as perfect.
She stood up and reached for Caleb’s shirt. She was all fingers and thumbs.
“When in doubt,” he said. “The easiest thing is to grab and tear.”
She watched and laughed as he grabbed each opening of his shirt and literally tore it off his body. He did it with such ease, she couldn’t help but laugh.
Once that was off, he took her hands and placed them on his chest. He was rock hard and thick, tanned muscle.
His hands went to her hips, and he pushed the tight skirt past her hips, and it fell to the floor. He took care of her panties as well, and literally tore them right off her body. She didn’t have any attachment to them. They were just panties.
When she went for his pants, he took hold of her hands and placed them by her sides. “I’ll take care of this.”
She smiled as he started to remove those pants, and when he finally was as naked as she was, she felt a little overwhelmed. Caleb was big. Bigger than she anticipated.
Should she tell him? What difference would it make? He could push her away, and right now, she wouldn’t be able to handle that level of rejection.
These were all first-time nerves that she could handle.
“I want you, Gemma,” he said.
And that made her heart flip.

Caleb had every intention of being a gentleman—having a nice dinner and just giving her a kiss at her doorstep. However, he couldn’t do it. The way Gemma kept looking at him, and of course the way he felt about her, wouldn’t let him walk away. He wanted to take this further. All the way.
Something flashed in her eyes, and he wasn’t sure if it was nerves, or if she had regrets. So, he decided to take this as slowly as he was able to.
