In the past, Amanda’s hangovers would have been cause for an argument, but at this moment, all I can think about is a way to get rid of her.
“Do you need some Tylenol?”
“Obviously,” she snaps, and I grit my teeth as I gape back at her with what can only be described as hatred. That’s exactly what I feel toward her.
“I’m going to go for a swim,” Immie says, then she pushes the empty plate toward me before opening a cupboard and pulling out a tub. She takes out a couple of cookies, then places one in front of me and the other in front of Amanda. “I made yours with sugar replacement just how you like them,” she tells Amanda, and heads toward the door.
My eyes latch onto her ass. “Immie?”
She spins around to face me, and I swear my heart skips a beat.
“In our pool, not the sports hall. I’ll have everything ready for you after.” Her cheeks heat and her eyes light up, causing my balls to ache.
The thought of leaving her something forbidden for following through with my instructions is almost overwhelming, and I worry I’m not going to be able to contain myself long enough to fix Amanda some breakfast.
Immie disappears from the room, and I avoid watching her ass sway the way I know it does. I turn my attention back to Amanda, who sits munching on the cookie while scrolling through her phone.
“Why don’t you go to the country club for brunch?” I suggest.
I take my phone out of my back pocket and start making arrangements for her.
She pats the back of her hair. “Hmm, I do need a salon.”
What she needs is rehab. Again.
I drop Miko a quick message.
Me: Book Amanda in at the country club spa. ASAP.
Miko: Morning.
Me: Is it done?
Miko: Obviously.
Me: I owe you.
Miko: Noted.
The fucker will note it too. Miko doesn’t let us get away with anything. Ever.
Miko: Sal is insisting on you being at his today for a BBQ. Immie too.
I don’t miss the fact that he didn’t ask Amanda to be present.
A barbecue means everyone will be going in the pool, which is a perfect opportunity to see Immie in her swimwear again if you ask me.
Me: I’ll be there.
I lift my head from my phone and fix my attention back on Amanda. “Well, you could make it a spa day? You might come back revitalized?”
She scoffs. “Sundays are always booked up. You’d know that if you were around.”
“Well, it’s your lucky day. I already booked you in. My driver is collecting you in half an hour.” I wink, and she blinks at me before pushing back in her chair.
“Oh my god, Jensen. You’re the best. You’ve no idea how much I deserve this!” she declares, rushing from the room.
My lips turn up into a cunning smile. “No, sweetheart, you’ve no idea how much I deserve this.”
